I hate the years, the salary, his age and the fact we’ve never seen him string more than a few dominant games in a row. Simply can’t blame the club on this one..

All these will individually hurt us. But at the end, it doesn't matter who we lose or bring in, IF we don't fix our culture and standards. Clubs build success on club cultures, and we are so far off, it's now become a farce.

Even now, our own supporters are still talking about 'tanking' and 'draft picks' as being the only way forward.
No lessons learnt!!! I get there probably the younger generation, and they don't know differently, but it's time to show them the way forward. I fully expect Wright to start steadying the club and everyone to comply or there's the door. I'm over it!!

100%, no person in their right mind could knock back that money, dont begrudge him either but I wont cry over his departure. He decided several months ago once the monster offer was put in front of him. Worst kept secret in AFL history. We should get a great compo pick and have cap space to bring in a gun if we want to so win win.

Has a fascination with his own picks… Stocker, Dow, TDK, JSOS (kind of), wanted Kemp. It’s like he’s getting high off his own recruiting fumes.

In a couple of years, St.Kilda fans will be asking 'why?' in relation to recruiting each of them. For what they are paying Tom, they could have recruited two players who would be objectively speaking better than him. If they land SOS, they are gambling on the durability of a player who hasn't shown that over his career so far. Dow and Stocker, I wouldn't even spend time talking about.

None of these players makes them appreciably better.
