Lots of lottery tickets. If they pan out (TDK) they hit the jackpot but they don't account for their misses.

I'm all for having a density of picks in that range if the top 10 isn't separating itself out, I just tire of players being picked because they had a good year as a 16 year old, or they are high risk not to be able to athletically compete at AFL level despite 1 or 2 elite traits and some good stats modelling in SOS' database.

And so many small midfielders turned forwards without really having elite speed and clear ability in front of goal...

Really? Think of what he is worth to the club in membership / merchandise alone. Not saying that’s how I think decisions should be made, but reality is it’s a big factor.

Relationship breakdown with Voss, not liking the direction of the club and/or its decisions, not wanting to live in Victoria, internal conflict amongst players, some other personal issue with partner/family etc.. it could be so many things and anything raised is mere speculation. If we trade him it will only be for a ridiculous deal otherwise he stays and fronts up for preseason. Carlton have to treat it as simple as that. Can't have players breaking contract left right and centre unless it suits us.

Sorry to intrude..but Lemmey sacking means there is a zero chance Curnow gets traded. Absolutely zero.
Harry is an ongoing slight risk (mental battles) so no way you would have sacked Lemmey if there was even a 1% chance of CC leaving.

Because Charlie is one of the most laid back dudes in the world and just wants to play football.
his character is more suited to somewhere where no one knows him.
But if they don’t pay up he stays.
It’s being beaten out of proportion by the media atm.
