If it’s the reported 5 x 8-850, that’s strongly band 2, and then we would put the argument that combined with TDK it should get bumped up to band 1 (fat chance of the AFL following their guidelines for Carlton to get something good).

I say keep one of them, trading the second would give us either a future 1st and some seconds/thirds.

Matches any bid on Dean and gives us future capital to trade up to ensure Cody Walker and some decent capital to fill holes in regards to pace and skill.

Could be a massive silver lining in this.

It’s a year later, the salary cap has and is going up, so they’re not equal.
But given TDK’s contract, we should by rights get 2 x Band 1.
