J ugle Hagan is keen to leave the bulldogs .
Back in the new surrounding coaches and GW to get him back on track?
Would be a perfect replacement for curnow if he keeps his mind on the job!
New surrounding away from MEL and his current cohorts.
Footy club around the corner isn’t going to assist on that.

I actually wouldn’t be too unhappy if we were able to convert Charlie into Humphrey, a pick that would get us Dovaston this year, and points for Cody next year.

Our 2027 forward line would look really dynamic and unpredictable with lots of goal scoring threats.

Humphrey McKay Walker
Dovaston O’Keeffe Moir

Kemp/Khamis/Evans

Given the way we used Charlie this year, as someone to whom we just bomb the ball on his head and hope for him to bring it to ground, I think O’Keeffe can be just as effective for a quarter of the salary, with the bonus that he can do the second ruck duties.

I always like a forward line where if any of them get a favourable match up, you can exploit it by moving them closer to goal and clearing out space for them. Dovaston has a bit of Phil Matera about him. Kicks goals for fun and would drive opponents mad which I think we desperately need.

We have been unable to get Elijah Hollands on track for the last two years. JUH is an unknown commodity with the same type of issues. I don’t think the club would want to invest more time trying to fix another persons off field issues.

I like this a lot. Great thinking.

The difficulty with this is for us to have a pick in the Dovaston range would (almost certainly) mean being able to live-trade into the a pick in the teens.
Given that it looks like we're going to need even more points for Cody, that's going to be a complicated trade.

Buku is what we need and that is depth. We have two key forwards on the list and if Curnow goes it will be 1. The pinch hitters like Young and O'Keeffe don't count and Moir and Kemp are not key forwards.

I don't think we are recruiting him for a best 22 spot but he will be good depth. We have been hamstrung by carrying too many players who have not been AFL capable like Lemmy for a good number of years, we need to have reserve senior players like this and young players who are able to play AFL football.

Lets see, this is an astute move. Nothing worse than being a cellar dweller or having a list full of kids in this age of football. We are rebuilding but it should be a short rebuild if we are successful here. Just a bit of a list tune up.
Does he not want to be traded to get more senior time? So I doubt we're pitching him the whole depth thing, we must be telling him he's in the plans to be a starter (a Kennedy type scenario).
