Yep, a viable option. What about looking at Ethan Phillips. Performed admirably in the backline for our VFL. Couple of games was bog taking a doz or more intercepting marks.
Trade picks 9, 11 and both 2027 first round picks to west coast and receive picks 2, 13, 34 and 41
Enough to draft Robey and match a bid at pick 7.
The amount of wiggle room we have around our draft picks now allows us to do pretty much whatever we want. It's ended up being a phenomenal dealI highly doubt we are trading any first round picks in 26 and 27 us and Melbourne are the only teams to have futures plus we have the old war chest of cashola.
Next years draft is the old super draft and we can go shopping if required.
Make no mistake what GW/Davies and Austin have done have put us in the best position in the last 25 years.
Very excited

Burton? Worth a look?Listening to davies this morning, I think we will be looking for a KPD as a DFA as we missed on khamis
Robey, as mentioned in the post. If he goes at 1 then itād be Duursma.Who would you pick at 2 and why?
Was out in front with Walsh, Cottrell, Binns and his brother running A couple of laps of Princes Park this morning.

Isnāt that what you want? Conviction in your draft choice is a bad thing now?
What's Humphrey worth then in this scenario?
If those are the two we want what do we add to Curnow to get it done? A compo pick?
Trac will get to pies.
Why are you here? Trade period hasnāt even started yet, and youāre writing the whole club off![]()
Yes they countDo salary payouts count in the cap space for next year?
Robey, as mentioned in the post. If he goes at 1 then itād be Duursma.

Robey would be the icing to that list. He's a genuine A grade 'talent' who would compliment Walsh, Jagga and Cody as a bigger body with explosive athleticism. Cerra the perfect defensive defensive ball winner to go with that lot imo.Massive if we can pull it off. Midfield set for a decade and potentially elite
Walsh Jagga Walker Lord Ben Campo maybe Wilson & Butters![]()
I doubt it but stranger things have happened. Personally can't see any pick swaps occurring until the AFL release the changes to the DVI and bid matching rules for next year. That will shape what we do more than anything over the next 12 months with Cody coming in.Could it be possible that we only take Dean and Ison in this years draft
and promote a rookie to satisfy the minimum requirements.
Then something like trade 9 to Nth for pick 26 and F2.
Pick 11 for Dean and 26 for Ison and 3 picks next year in the top 25.
Sullivan Robey for me!HereComesJuddy any thoughts?
Sullivan Robey for me!
Big mid, plays forward a lot too. Kicks plenty of goals, runs through players at will and collects huge number possessions. He literally dominates and gives me Petracca vibes. Play him forward from day 1. Kids a beast and works his ass off. Cult hero vibes!
We all wanted Bailey Humphrey and I think this guy could be better.
Yep definitely agree.Cheers Mate. Sounds like perfect foil for Jagga and Walker

We have 4 future 1sts.Doing the quick numbers.
Pick 9 will be pick 12 before any Dean bid, so unlikely that he gets past there.
Not sure we can get ahead of the bid frankly
Yep definitely agree.
If we somehow got Robey, then add Walker next year, we just sit back and smile![]()
My thoughts exactlyIt was reported they were looking to get Hawthorns 1st (which is now ours) with their F1.
Id love their F1. Reckon itll fall earlier then everyone thinks.
Yep agree. Has too much grunt and mongrel in him not to succeedI still believe Lord can be a Newcombe type and really help this group

What are we likely to do with the picks?
Iād offer our picks 9, 11 and Sydney's 2027 1st to West Coast for their pick 2 (only if it gets us Robey) with their 2025 picks 34, 41 and their 2026 and 2027 2nds coming our way. Of course I donāt want to just give away a 2027 1st, but Iād say after TAS come in, the Sydney 1st is probably late 20s???I still believe Lord can be a Newcombe type and really help this group
