Reidy's hardly short at 204cm.Reeves knocked us back early as Hawks offered him new deal. He was our first choice
He does exactly zero around the ground or when resting forward.I think Pitto is underrated on here. Doesnt do much around the ground but provides a physical presence and tap work is elite. Durability the main question mark.
If he can stay fit I have no issue with him as our no.1. People saying HOK is ahead as ruck, have rocks in their head. At this stage in Pitto would annihilate him. HOK might provide more around the ground, but having someone who competes strongly in the ruck is more important.
There's been plenty of solid ruckman, who have played for good teams, that dont do alot around the ground. He doesnt do 0. It's just not his strength. He does exactly zero around the ground or when resting forward.
Zero. That's a problem...

We have saved a million dollars in wages for, at worst a marginal downgrade. In fairness, there is nothing to say Reidy can’t reach Meek like levels as HOK continues to develop (he is a baby for a ruck… or key forward)Thought Pitto had actually improved his marking
Hit the scoreboard at times including our goal of the year with his torpedo
Don’t think we’ll lose too much between TDK & Pitto as #1 ruck
I think he has something as a forward. We have the luxury of having a number one ruck and splitting the part time ruck between O'Keeffe and McKay.He won’t be spending big time in ruck. Will be training with forwards
Showed massive improvement as a forward last year and coaches were impressed with positioning and especially contested marking. We were actually more effective when he was forward

I don't think any modern team would want a pure Tap Ruckman like Pitto. The game has gone past it.There's been plenty of solid ruckman, who have played for good teams, that dont do alot around the ground. He doesnt do 0. It's just not his strength.
It's not a big problem, particularly if you arent paying much for him, and can use that money elsewhere. Cant have stars on every line. We've shown before we can be a good team with Pitto in the ruck.
Definitely wouldn't call stuff like this zero
