Whatās stopping us delisting Young, White and then just adding one back via the SSP in Feb due due the HOF injury?
the guy cops way too much carp...Young plays KD, KF, and Ruck. A valuable depth player.

Was referring to Lewis Young being used as the 2nd key forward.Personally i think Young and White are great rookie worthy list options, they possess some good traits,
What weāre still got, is a handful of players who are simply limited which some whoāve have been cut, while others have been delisted, a couple still have contracts, along with a few others who could/should be delisted by the end of next seasonā¦
Hopefully we've got Derksen locked away as a DFA after the draft. We need more KPF depth to enable HOK to spend more time in the ruck- whether in the seniors or twos
Staying fit is exactly the problem, his legs go to shit every year, and it's been that way since the year before the Hawks let him go.I think Pitto is underrated on here. Doesnt do much around the ground but provides a physical presence and tap work is elite. Durability the main question mark.
If he can stay fit I have no issue with him as our no.1. People saying HOK is ahead as ruck, have rocks in their head. At this stage in Pitto would annihilate him. HOK might provide more around the ground, but having someone who competes strongly in the ruck is more important.

Does Chesser get into the best 22 now given Florent came in?
What is your best 22 anyway in your eyes? One team in the AFL I couldnt even guess given the huge changes
Plenty of scope to play Acres, Ollie, Chesser, Ainsworth, Walsh, Florent, even Cottrell and Wilson. It depends on a lot of stuff.
Is Acres the 2023 version of the 2025 version?
Is O.Hollands going back to the wing or staying with the defenders?
Is Florent assigned wing or Half-back. You assume that he and Hollands will be in one of the other spot

Extremely gifted junior athlete, and they stacked the weight on him and his legs fell apart. Was genuinely up near to Kreuzer's level:
Wanted us to draft him, and I'm getting tired of repeating his information packet every year.

This is a ****ing longneck

We'll use the extra numbers to get quicker, which will help Saad, Cowan, McGovern, Williams, Hawyard, and McKay immensely.
I refuse to take that man's opinion seriously so long as he holds a beer that way
We've just lost a starting KPD, KPF and ruckman and you want to delist Young???Whatās stopping us delisting Young, White and then just adding one back via the SSP in Feb due due the HOF injury?

That's a glass, sir, not a potato cake
Club very much see HOK as a Forward who can Ruck and not a No.1 Ruck. It will be Pittonet & Reidy fighting for Ruck spot with Young as back up next season
How many goals did HoK kick in the VFL last season? Do they see him mainly as as a forward who can pinch hit in the ruck in the VFL? If so, then dont care. But hopefully not our AFL side.
Carrying HoK and Pitto in our 2026 'AFL' side is a death knell.
He played primarily as a KPF when he appeared in 2025 in the AFL team and held his own fine for his first handful of games. Why would it be a death knell to have him at Pitto in the same side? HOK would likely be playing deep forward and rotating into the ruck when Pitto went to the bench. How many goals did HoK kick in the VFL last season? Maybe he just chases everyone around the locker room trying to mount themIt's only my opinion but I have Young, Pitto, HoK, McGovern, Moir, Kemp down as squad players for the 2026 season. Definitely ok to be on our list all of them. Playing them all each week simply suggests that for 2026 and in the short term it is indeed a reset until more quality arrives or in some cases development (Moir/HoK).
Pitto if could turn back the clock to around 2021 where he averaged 29 hitouts would be nice. Since then he has been trending downward along with games played. HoK will always find it hard...lacks the centremtres to win hitouts plus lacks the forward class to beat a quality defender.
Disclaimer: For HoK, the club keeps mentioning he is an aggressive bull. They see it internally. We are yet to see it on gameday. The coaches need to get it out of him on gameday in 2026. If that shows I'll be more of a fan.
Big HoK not aggressive enough? My North Melbourne mate sent me this after his 2nd game. Big HOK has some serious mongrel about him imo. It's only my opinion but I have Young, Pitto, HoK, McGovern, Moir, Kemp down as squad players for the 2026 season. Personally I would have preferred we keep Mick Gibbons than get FogartyFog is slow, a poor kick, and not an accumulator. He couldn't make it as an inside on-baller, and he's certainly not what we need in the forward line. He's done well to get to 60+ games, but we can and must do better.
I agree, I always thought he was serviceable with one BIG problem - when he got the ball he would often stop and think about what to do and any and all momentum in the game would be lost. This failure had me despairing but this year I noticed that he was making a concerted effort to play on quickly and sometimes it would cause a problem but overall he was much more effective because of this. If he can keep up the effort to react quickly with the ball he will definitely make a play for being in our best 22.the guy cops way too much carp...
Very serviceable player... still might be best 22. or 23...
He was ok, and he was basically the only choice at that time aside from Lemmey. He played primarily as a KPF when he appeared in 2025 in the AFL team and held his own fine for his first handful of games. THE CARLTON Football Club is excited to announce the re-signing of four rookies, with Francis Evans, Flynn Young, Harry Charleson and Rob Monahan continuing with the Blues into 2026.
The respective one-year extensions will see their time continue in the Navy Blue, which saw Evans and Young pull on the Navy Blue for the first time while Charleson and Monahan showed continued growth for the Carlton Reserves.
