Monahan can count himself lucky. Havenāt seen anything of Charleson to have an opinion. Ok with the others. Does this rule out Gresham?

Probably.
We'll know more by end of week, when Father/Son and NGA nominations are submitted.
However, I think White would be ahead of Gresham if we were to add another small forward.
Not sure thereās any point in cutting Monahan if we didnāt have another cat b we wanted to add?
Monahan looks a mile off it IMO. Gets lost easily. I can only assume being Cat B and coming from Ireland they are giving them a decent go.
Charleson impressed me. Calm and good ball user off HB. Lots of upside for one so young
Frankie had great finish to season. Hope he can continue
Young I like. Be better with a pre season. Like his ball use. Worth another year

Every time I read "re-signs" as "resigns" and it take two seconds before it clicks, but not before I've packed my dacks!
So not seeming like there will be much turn over of rookies then?

Cincotta and White delisted.
We're currently full for Cat A & for Cat B, but most likely we will elevate 1 (O'Keefe makes the most sense) after the National Draft to give ourselves an open spot.
With Monahan I suspect they want to give him a decent go since he moved from Ireland. 2 years isnt really enough. The club would want to be seen as giving him every chance, to remain attractive to international recruits in the future.
That said, considering we can Cat B rookie academy kids now, Im not sure irish players are the best use of those spots going forward.
You'd think that spot would go to Gresham if Monahan wasnt already on the list.

Iām stoked that Charleson is getting another year. Really improved over the season and has good attributes. His late season form mustāve had him very close to a senior debut. Was picked up in the draft where half backs should be picked up. Hoping he has a long future with us.
Charleston actually impresses me more then Wilson and even Carroll, despite them getting games over him.
From the little bits I saw of Charleson I think he might go past Billy Wilson. Similar in some ways but Charleson seems to really take the game on - spot up a target, runs hard to receive, try and break the lines.
Good size for a half back as well.
Charleson has a calmness and poise which is impressive for such a young player. Has the tools
Wilson I see as more a late developer. Has all the tools and some pace but just needs to adjust. I thought his last game of the year he really showed his talent
At their age they all adapt at different rates.

Charleston looked very assured as a HB at VFL level. Looks like a player.

From defence with NO run last year we now have Charleson Wilson Saad Boyd Ollie Chesser Florent Lucas Carroll Flynn Cottrell that can all play as running defenders
All of sudden we seem more mobile and have more run all over the ground
I can see Wilson really coming on next season. Had a taste of senior footy and another pre season will have him primed.
