Because he is being traded to Carlton. How’d Reidy end up in a possible B23 discussion ?
How did 24 players end up in a possible B23 discussion? How’d Reidy end up in a possible B23 discussion ?

I’d give anything for us to trade this guy in over the next year or two.
We just have to find a way to get him across.
He’s just got that bit of swagger and arrogance that the team is crying out for. We’d genuinely have one of the best midfields in the AFL if Warner could be added.
Ideally he doesn’t win a flag at Sydney beforehand too. Keeps the flame burning as fiercely as ever.
There aren’t that many premiership players traded to second clubs that win flags again.

Mitchell or Steele from St Kilda fit what they need in my opinion, heard they were interested in Steele a few months ago.No chance for us but anyone think the weagles should look at Tom Mitchell for a year? Been told to explore options
If Curnow ends up nominating Sydney I’d be going so hard for Chad this year, something has to give if Sydney want to bring Charlie in and we could unlock itWarner is a must have if he ever wants to come over, I've seen a few people at times on here say they aren't interested anymore, I just don't get that though. If Chad Warner wants to come to your team, you make it happen.

I agree Warner is a must have, we need more A graders in the team. Geelong and Brisbane bat quite deep with their lists. If he wants to come home it won't be until he is OOC in 2027. Chad isn't really a ball winner though, so we have two years to sort that area of our midfield out. Hopefully Ras and Johno improve that area of their game which would allow us to spend our remaining capital on Warner.Warner is a must have if he ever wants to come over, I've seen a few people at times on here say they aren't interested anymore, I just don't get that though. Damn chat GPT must have read Reid and decided to slot in Reidy. I didn't QA the listHow’d Reidy end up in a possible B23 discussion ?
Same answer as above, Chat GPT read Reid and put in Reid and Reidy. How did 24 players end up in a possible B23 discussion?![]()

Get that but you can’t afford to always wait in this industry, look at Geelong and Brisbane they’ve been up the top for so many years because they stay aggressive with their list managementFree agent in two years. Just be patient.
If he was coming home this year, he wouldn't have signed a contract.
They may be better. Grundy had a very good year and they are highly dependent on that happening again. Don't Grundy has produced a season like that in a while. Certainly having Gulden healthy is a big improvement. His performance in the 2022 GF speaks volumes. Can't help but feel that the club are still all over him, which might go some way to explaining why the powder's being kept dry this time around (from a salary perspective anyway).
A two year extension was really a 'wait and see' contract. Sydney will be better in 2026 but if they aren't still in the conversation in the last couple of weeks of September, you'd think Freo would be asking the question again.
Just looking through the Geelong VFL team and two names stood out stats wise
Tobyn Murray - looks like he plays half forward, average 15 possesions and a goal a game.
Two AFL clubs have reached out to Colac Tiger Tobyn Murray ahead of this year’s draft, following his breakout season with Geelong in the VFL.
Jay Polkinghorne
Looks to be undersized key forward, so think he struggles at the next level but Tobyn Murray would be worth a look with a late pick.
There's absolutely no dropkicks or coke heads living anywhere near the Goldie so it'll be perfect for himIf he's turned things around a little and there's a clear plan to house him and support him, maybe even have him living in a smaller, less partyish place like Northern NSW like Fingal or Brunswick Heads then it could actually work.
But yeah, logically connecting the 2 seems like a disaster. Then again, getting out of the fishbowl worked for Hogan.
You heard correctly, but it was steal, not Steele for the evilsMitchell or Steele from St Kilda fit what they need in my opinion, heard they were interested in Steele a few months ago.
I'm on the Goldie right now and can confirm - their no dickheads policy is working a treat. There's absolutely no dropkicks or coke heads living anywhere near the Goldie so it'll be perfect for him
Aren’t this years prelim finals teams all at least 2 years older than that? As in the 23 that played in the day?Keep in mind the average age will be +0.5 years by start of next season.

100% whatever the cost we need more qualityGeelong and Brisbane would do everything to bring in Warner now. Not wait 2 years and hope.
