Surely Ah Chee doesn’t get to Adelaide through PSD? I know it’s a bit of a handshake thing, but clubs will be all over him now trying to get him in. We should absolutely be one of them.
He'll 100% get through to Adelaide in the PSD.

He's a solid best 23 player. No more, no less and he's not someone that clubs need to have.

Can’t see him going past WC who also had major interest in him

Considering they have 4 extra rookie spots they could move any player they need to in order to facilitate an extra list spot for Ah Chee.

So Gold Coast, GWS and Brisbane got stronger... what'd we get.. Judd and hope in natural growth? Still have a wing and small forward issue and a lack of quality KPD depth.

If eagles don’t pick ah chee can we would be perfect wing replacement for JOM

Let's not downplay that.

We haven't lost a player this year either.

All well and good but we were blessed on the injury front this year, mostly, and have just turned over our S&C department.

So, Sydney give 2025/2026/2027 firsts plus Will Hayward

Carlton give back 31, 42 and a 2027 pick of some description

Only more KPD depth than any club in the league...
Did you forget the 'quality' key word? Pearce and Ryan go down and we have... OMac, Draper and Davies.

You know, btwn the Hawthorn pick swap and the fact we avoided the deadline day ****ery, I'm perfectly fine with Freo's pick swap now. Hopefully this trade period stops teams playing dumb games with "time pressure" to the extent they have.

I'll be honest I think Hawthorn offered more than enough for Merrett.

Its more a lesson for players that if you're contracted and request a trade it doesn't mean you'll get traded.
Not so much the offer (which was overs) but the traditional style of negotiation through the media combined with being completely brazen about approaching him mid season with no respect, as well as the "setting arbitrary deadlines" as a means of forcing an early deal. That can get in the bin and it's good that it hasn't been encouraged

Add Geelong (Worpel), Sydney (Curnow) and Giants (Oliver) to the list. Glad I'm not the only one concerned.

I think we ranked pretty low on the lucky with injury this year, but it was mostly isolated in Fyfe, Walters, Young and we really need Hayden Young playing a full season - it's a whole different world with him in the side.
