Brother! How is he juking while sliding feet first??? He's not a Jedi!

I didn't say he did, I mean the dbs are not closing on the ball carrier so they are in 2 minds on what to do.

Look at the last run from Willis, 9 yards and the Bears safety just standing there hoping he slides.

Willis legs have been huge.
He's such a different style of QB to Jordan Love.

Really seeing the Bears D going hard for the strips and the forced fumbles, almost giving more emphasis to that than the initial tackle. Another turnover would really hurt the Pack.

The NFL might just look at removing the slide protections. make it easier to ref because then only the clear dirty hits are called. If they want to run treat them like a RB and they will step out or slide earlier rather then get 2-3 extra yds and try to draw 15 on top. Josh Allen is the worst at it

Classic "we have no film on him" QB is great who wants him? performance.
Its not there is no film of him. started a couple of games last year and played a bit this season. its more our offense changes with him in. we dont have QB runs with Love so the D needs to change the gameplan.

Or if they get within say 5 metres of the defender without starting to slide they are open slather.

He may be in demand but he'd be far behind Mac Jones for suitors.

You could also add Jameis as the backups who might be looking for more opportunities

I dont think you can have any extra protection that other players dont get. just makes it too hard to ref and leads to players exploiting any rules

Back to this you also have edges and DTs in 2 minds at times because they dont want to sack or hit a QB too hard and give up a flag which can lead to athletic QB's escaping and making plays because they didnt get wrapped up tight enough.

You know the one I hate is the one where the wb heads to the sideline the defender pulls up and the qb heads upfield steals a few extra yards.
