NFL 2025 NFL - Week 17

Your head coach might put Jacobs at QB anyway lol
Jacobs is so banged up he needs the week off nextweek. Been playing through a knee injury since the Giants game where MetLife got him

The league needs to normalise QBs sitting a year or so to get ready for thr NFL. Not many rookies are ready to start
Depends on the QB but yeah. I think ownership is to blame more than anything.

Coaching is a huge part of it too. Vrabel had such little faith in Willis that he insisted that they trade up and draft Will Levis in the second round of the 2023 draft. Imagine the impact that show of coaching faith had on someone like Willis. As if anyone could see enough in just 3 starts and 8 games total (61 pass attempts and 37 rushes in 2022 total) to junk a young rookie QB completely.

Sad to see him get hurt tonight.

I don't know what we are arguing about. Willis was garbage. Needed time to sit. Ownership probably forced him out there and Vrabel was right that he needed to be on the bench.

2 turnovers and a failed 4th down at our own 35 are the gap in the game. Needed to play a clean game and havent been clean

Willis was very very far from garbage in my opinion, I believe he'd have been very solid if allowed to run like he can.

So I strongly disagree with suggestions he was rubbish at Titans.
I did at the time and do even more so now. Finally getting some proof of what he is.

Still time for the Ravens to go peak dumb and lose it

Won’t matter anyway as Cleveland ain’t winning lol
We dont get turnovers. We are like bottom 7 in the league for turnovers.

We have chances but just drop them

Watch the games he played, he was absolute trash. Looks a completely different QB now.

Willis was throwing for 6/15 , shit like that. Everyone knew the Titans wanted to run the ball and he still couldn't make a throw

Not disappointed in the loss. Played well on offence. Defense couldn't stop thr run today. But players kept dropping like flies.

Just rest everyone on the injury report and take our shot at the bears in the WC round.

I did see all the games he played, and will agree to disagree.

I'll leave it at what I've already said, which is that Vrabel trying to ban Willis from running himself was stupidity personified, especially given the complete lack of quality WRs and TEs and the pathetic OLine there at the Titans. They gave Dillard a multi year contract to start at OLine despite his failures in Philly FFS.

Injuries almost mean you could be better not playing at all next week - imagine if someone key gets a ACL or a long term injury in a game next week or playoffs. No saying tanking is OK, but there is a tipping point when the injuries become so overwhelming across the whole team.

No reason to play anyone banged up. Cant improve from the 7 seed. Just need to rest up and get healthier.

We did it last year and Watson did his ACL in the first half so we pulled the starters.
Nothing to gain and with how the injury bug had smacked us this season only bad things can happen
