Why does Daicos get a hard tag most weeks but Sniff runs around by himself all year?

Because he doesn’t deliver the ball as cleanly so on balance teams are fine letting him rack up the cheapies. Contrast this to Nick, Dawson, Richards, NWM and you get why they will always warrant a closer look.

Exactly, would be a travesty is seagull Smith wins a Brownlow.

Based on the umpiring, my guess is Dawson wins the Downlow.

Didn't watch much of the Crows game but apparently the Kangas tried to shit down Keane. I wonder if Fly will try something similar?

For all the talk about our poor form, Adelaide hasn’t been much better either.
  • Beat Hawthorn after a shocking first quarter.
  • Barely beat West Coast and North Melbourne.
  • Lucky to beat us.
There's definitely some chinks appearing in their armour. Hopefully they're big enough for us to burrow through and exploit their weak spot whenever we meet them in the finals.

I dunno, has way to many quiet games for my liking, sometimes he seems to get BOG by default because no one else in the team can get over 20 disposals or score more than 3 goals.

If not Nick, I hope Anderson gets it. Been a star this year.

Hawthorn were really really good against Adelaide and that form carried through to our match.

That was a quality win for the Crows IMO.

Our game was a continuation of remarkably close encounters. Both sides would have left the last match feeling good about themselves, the Crows for withstanding our F50 differential, us for generating it. History would suggest another close one.

With a home final already wrapped up the Adelaide players could be excused if they were in self preservation mode this week, while some of the excuses we've provided for ourselves in recent weeks are equally in play for the Crows also.

While we can enter our next game against Adelaide with a level of confidence, I don't think that confidence is born from any notion Adelaide aren't worthy of finishing top of the ladder in 2025.

I'm anticipating another epic clash and we'll be made to earn any victory as shall they.

Both are perfect tbh. Playing at the G always preferable and we have the chance to put a dent in Geelongs plans.

It’s a blessing in disguise that we got that Adelaide consecutive win streak monkey off our back with a loss so it’s not a record we have to carry into finals. We had a similar winning streak a few years ago agaibst the swans away and of course got beaten by them in a final.

So now we can go back to the “ we can win anywhere” mentality.
Maybe we really need to ask not “ who do we want to play in the QF”…. But rather “ which of Brisbane or Hawthorn do we want to lose the double chance”
I want to play Adelaide. For the theatre of it. Because I'll get to go.Because we outplayed them recently (despite not getting the win) And because I think they're a chance of bottling it in what will be an insanely intense atmosphere.

He’s a butcher of the ball, gets 50 touches but doesn’t do anything with them
I don't watch geelong enough to categorically say without emotional influence one way or another, but when I typed this, he kicked a bullet, laces out to Dangerfield.
