We’ve barely been without Bont in the last decade. It’s easy to think we’re cooked without him but plenty of sides lose key players for a stretch and do fine.

The injuries are a good opportunity for Sanders, Richards, Garcia, Darcy, West, O’Donnell etc and the players missing are mostly older - we can’t rely on them forever.

Agree. Time to see who stands up.

Really a lot of pressure now on Garcia and Sanders to perform in the middle, alongside Harmes and M.Kennedy (thankfully we have his bigger body in there).

If Ed doesn't get up the midfield will be:

English, Libba, Sanders, Garcia, Kennedy, Harmes.

Doesn't inspire a lot of confidence though.

Will say this - we are in for some incredible captain's speeches with Libba at the helm for a month.
