2025 - Predictions for our most important season in a long time

Now unless my abacus is ****ed, and the Bulldogs miss the 8, we will have played 14 games against sides outside the 8 in 2025.
If someone had said that to you at seasons start, would 5/7 wins be acceptable. I'd suggest hell no is the answer.

Some will say we've improved, but in reality and considering we bought in over the last 24 months, Fishers, Stephen, Daniels, Parker, Darling and Konstantys.

All as we have done is made a huge shit sandwich with stale bread. I could make a case to delist all six and it would not impact the W/L column for 2026.

I like that removing the 's' from the end of Stephens' name makes him just seem like a regular guy. Just an accountant we found somewhere and told to put on the boots

I think biggest takeaway for me was the whole team took it very literally that we want to be in games longer. We often got to 3 qtr time in a good position and then stopped playing.
I believe messaging is important and saying that has created an understanding that it is acceptable.
8 wins was genuinely achievable if we had have played out games better.
We have improved but need to take that step where we believe. That hasn’t happened yet and you can still tell. We don’t put sides to the sword when on top, we crap ourselves when we are in a winning position.
Add in Poor defence…

Wins: 5

B&F: Sheezel

Does LDU stay: No

All Aust: Sheezel

Does FOS place in Rising Star: Top 3

Top 3 Leading goal kickers: Larkey, Bull , Curtis

Does Chom play Fwd/Bck: both Fwd & Back - swing man .

Is Durz locked best 22 come seasons end: No , needs to work harder on fitness & size .

Who has the better year out of Sheez, Warlord, Kerch: Sheezel but Kerch just behind him .

Short summary of season: Improvement, but still lack of fitness & skills will cost us games. Knowing / learning how to win still being the biggest hurdle.
VFL will make finals easily.
Fair effort, Rossco. You know your shit!

4.5 wins and were a bit stiff against Poort (away), Saints, Essendon, Freo (away) & Lions.

Lost all above by single point margins(+ draw w reigning prems), with the youngest team in the comp, least experience.

How will it look next year with MWhitlock at CHF, Goog Goad instead of Teakle, Braydos Jorge instead Bailey Runt, Josh Gosters instead of 'Claiming 6.5', Nick Larkey, A 5KG heavier and 20% fitter Duursmas, Wardlaw and Hardeman not to mention Paul Curtis.

Sr. Por Favor.

Yes well we probably could have lost to the Tiger and Eagle. And yes like you I hope those you mentioned continue to improve and those with injuries get fit.

Still leaves us playing Powell's, Stephens, Daniel etc. A long way to go unfortunately

Why is Powell Powells now?

He is reaching for an S on occasion, but not sure I'm supportive of the frankly premature S. Outrageous.

Phillip
Daniels
Augustus
Stefan Dennis
(Deserve their own category)

Duursmas
Wardlaws
Dawsons
Hardemans
Slow mo Shezels
Too short 4 Ruck Tristan Xerris

Been a big week from the faithful.
