Pretty sure there's another reason Tanner ain't playing mate.Mmm .....is that why Jhye Clark, Knevitt, and Bruhn have struggled to get AFL games ....and also why Jordan Clark exited GEEL for FREO

I knew this would be brought up .....but go back to his 2024, and he was still struggling, and was regularly subbed out when playedPretty sure there's another reason Tanner ain't playing mate.
Hopefully they can’t afford to keep them all as they get older and we can grab a few

Opinions on Clubs change weekly .....last week, GEEL were seen as perfectly set-up, with a brilliant Coach
Day after .....and the Coach supposedly got pantsed in the Coaching Box, and they suddenly have gaps in their list

It does reinforce the fact .....teams are never as good, nor as bad, as it seems .....and so that also applies to the Crows
All in good time (over 2 offseasons).Petracca and Ah Chee rumours to Adelaide building. Would love to get Bailey as well as a former Norwood junior
So we’re not as good as we seem?
Fagan said in his press conference after the Grand Final that he likes to back young players in, and tells them to use their weapons to play to their strengths.
The Brisbane Grand Final team had
Sam Marshall 19
Ty Gallop 19
Levi Ashcroft 19
Logan Morris 20
Darcy Willmott 21
Jaspa Fletcher 21
Will Ashcroft 21
Kai Lohmann 22
What you say makes a lot of sense, but it's not true of everyone.I'm looking at the evidence. The evidence clearly shows the top mids play AFL from the start.
Yeah sure they might be played at half back or whatever. That's better than in the reserves. The best clubs find a role to develop stars in the AFL and to get them to flourish that way
He has trouble identifying thatWe'd have to get a defib for Nicks if we wanted to field 8 22 and under with instructions to play to their strengths
I've always said that (except McHenry) I can always spot why a potential midfielder is drafted with a high pick.I know a lot of you can’t remember, but Jones started off looking very promising.
We need a new coach for that to ever be a reality.Hopefully we can become a team like Brisbane and engage a coaching philosophy like Fagans and get our kids to play to their strengths and use their weapons.
Jones? At the start, nah.I know a lot of you can’t remember, but Jones started off looking very promising.
He was raw, but hunted the ball. It was only when Godden got hold of him and made him worry more about his opponent than the ball that he turned to shit in the middleJones? At the start, nah.
Nah jones couldn’t draw you a footy until 2023 except for 1 game vs the doggies. He was raw, but hunted the ball. It was only when Godden got hold of him and made him worry more about his opponent than the ball that he turned to shit in the middle
I mean that's just not right, his first season was a decent, if not spectacular start - better than his second season in just about every measure.Nah jones couldn’t draw you a footy until 2023 except for 1 game vs the doggies.
Was hopeless from the start.
The coaches all but stripped Draper of his footballing instinct by the end of the season. I was quite staggered by the way he was playing at the end of the season. He was basically chasing tackles.
Spectacular? Now I’ve heard it allI mean that's just not right, his first season was a decent, if not spectacular start - better than his second season in just about every measure.

Sorry, I worded that strangely - I meant decent (but not spectacular).Spectacular? Now I’ve heard it all
Sure his first was better than his second but that doesn’t say much at all.
Murphy has a better player rating than jones , better average and better yearly rating than chayces first year in all but 2 years.
The memory of Jones first year I think is clouded by the optimism and excitement that he was selected in the superdraft so he must be good.Sorry, I worded that strangely - I meant decent (but not spectacular).
Chayce Jones is not a hill Im willing to die on.
Not even close to being rightNah jones couldn’t draw you a footy until 2023 except for 1 game vs the doggies.

We'd have played Butters in a forward pocket and he'd be playing for Geelong by now.The memory of Jones first year I think is clouded by the optimism and excitement that he was selected in the superdraft so he must be good.
In reality his best game was his last game that year where he had 18 touches.
Could he have been good with better development? Possibly, but he also seems to be missing the ability which includes ball winning and smarts.
**** we blew some picks that would be crucial to our chances now, we are craving 2 A grade mids, give us Butters and Serong/Young and we would be serious contenders.
Yeah feel free to provide some facts. Not even close to being right
