So you think Oscar is at fault? Or is it the car set-up is not at its premium? Who benefits the most by not providing Oscar the best car possible?

5 races left and 2 sprints?

Max is realistically still too far back if Oscar gets on the podium at each race i reckon but Oscar needs to lift his qualifying.

The real interesting thing is if Max gets ahead of lando but just behind Oscar by the last race do McLaren give the strategy advantage to Oscar ahead of golden boy so that one of their drivers can win the title? Probably not the way zak is a lando fanboi.

Oscar finishing on the podium each race is no longer a given

Maybe im glass half full, but hes had a bad three races and been able to hold a lead, like a few months ago for Lando the luck will turn, Lando is only one DNF from being out of it, whereas one DNF for Oscar means he is still a chance.

Oscar just has to get his Mojo back, and it will come back, thats part of the season being so long.

Max is going to win the championship, 26 points behind Lando 40 Behind Piastri.

Wouldn’t surprise me if he is in front before we even get to the last race.

So crunching the numbers, if the results go 1st Max, 2nd Lando, 3rd Oscar for the next 4 rounds, coming into Abu Dhabi the standings will be:

Max 422
Oscar 418
Lando 418

The winner of the last race of the season takes the WDC. Start manifesting!

Feels a lot like 2010
Piastri (Webber)
Lando (Vettel)
Max (Alonso)

"No Mikey no! That's not right!"

It's coming

With Max coming strong does Zac Brown have to tell Lando to let Oscar through to get maximum points from here on in?

Or because the constructors is won he doesn't care about driver championship?

If I weren't Australian, I would be backing the in form driver, which is clearly Lando. The fact he is their golden boy means 1 more lead reduction and it will be rubber stamped.

He will still care about a McLaren driver winning the WDC.

The way things are going, I'm not backing any of them though. All set for a Max win and imo the finest of his WDCs if he wins this year and would establish him as GOAT.
