Would like to see E Hollands, McKay, Boyd and Durdin play if fit.

Cowan obviously out with injury. Would omit Moir, McGovern and Motlop.

I know you all love Moir, but one kick and one handball in 55% ToG isn't it. He didn't look anywhere near it today I'm afraid.

Young shouldn't be playing forward. Send him down back to take McGovern's spot.

Docherty as the sub.

As for the others - White should get another week and he's no worse than our other small forwards so give him another run. Fogarty didn't have a great game, but he is still our best pressure forward. There is no one to replace Haynes so I can't justify dropping him - and I personally don't think he is that bad, he has been playing his role better than some. And Ollie Hollands shouldn't get a game, but I'm not sure anyone could replace him and be an improvement. He's giving it his all at least, which is something.
White could have won the game off his own boot. One of our best. Does have the forward craft.

Out: Docherty, McGovern, Young, Motlop, Cowan (inj)
In: Durdin, L Camporeale, Boyd, McKay, E Hollands

Boyd Weitering Haynes
Saad Silvagni Williams
O Hollands Cripps Walsh
White McKay E Hollands
Kemp Curnow Durdin
De Koning Hewett Cerra

Lord L Camporeale Acres Moir Fogarty
I think this instantly makes us better.
Also out, coaching staff, shackles
In, freedom. Go nuts boys.

Here's a worrying thought........ no one thought that we'd lose round 1 against the current spooner's......
...... just saying.

Nothing is gonna change until they hold the senior players accountable.

I can appreciate wanting to back guys in to "respond" to a poor game, but now those poor games are stacking up you can't tolerate it any longer.

Gov, Doc and Haynes out. Don't care if it leaves us short on "leadership", cause it's shit leadership to see these guys dropping marks, squibbing contests and dumping kicks to nobody, or worse, the opposition. As long as these guys hold their spots, it is clear to everyone that their efforts are accepted. Banish them til after the bye, at the earliest.

But you know what's gonna happen?

We're gonna drop White and Moir for daring to struggle as inexperienced kids in our travesty of a forward line, and bring in Pittonet and Evans.

Found Voss’ post match comment re Harry interesting. Mid week he was on AFL360 and I got the vibe that Harry was likely to play last night. Then in the press conference he said he has no intention of giving a weekly dialogue about it, suggesting he is some time away still

There were some short steps taken last night by our seniors, to the extent Naicos was making fun of them. :$
I’m sick of pointing out Gov each week.

Only ones I'd change from your desired team is Moir being sub, Haynes being dropped and Young down back.

The first 2.5 rounds i thought Haynes should be as far away from the team as possible. But he's been OK down back in the last game and a half. Young and Weitering just doesn't work. You can see everytime they play together Weitering doesn't trust him at all and spends half the game worring about him.

Either drop Young and bring in Haynes, or start Carroll in lieu of Young and have Young on the bench as a relief tall/ to pinch hit in the ruck.

I thought Young did well in the last few games as a defensive tall forward. Until he appeared to get moved off Moore, he was keeping him accountable and away from his intercept game. He did the same with Lobb last week.

I'd potentially have Ollie as sub in lieu of Moir too. I think Moir has potential but he's not AFL ready yet

However i very much agree with your expected it's unfortunately
Young was a disaster last night again.

A 🦌 in the headlights.

Every time the play came through him, he stopped & panicked.

OMG - who can take this thing away from me???

Thought Haynes has been much better the last 2 games.

Barring injury, this should be our 23 for the rest of the year:

Cowan, Weitering, JSOS
Boyd, Carroll, Saad
Walsh, Cerra, Acres
TDK, Cripps, Hewett
E. Hollands, Curnow, Williams
Moir, McKay, Kemp
I/C: O. Hollands, Lord, Motlop, [rotation]
Sub: [rotation]

Rotation group: Cottrell, White, Fogarty, L Campo, B Campo, Wilson, Durdin, Charleson

Everyone else can piss off to the VFL for the rest of the season,

To be fair i could highlight a few who were deer in the head lights throughout the game

However there were multiple moment's where Young made an impact with Moore in the first half.

The moment in the goal square where he didnt allow him to run off him to intercept which resulted in the goal, highlighted what I'm talking about.

There were also times where you could see Moore looking over his shoulder wanting to run and intercept but he knew that if he did Young would be free in the 50m arc.

I'm not saying he was brilliant or even had a good game, but I do believe he made Moore accountable in the forward half before they appeared to move him off him.

If he was moved off him I'm not sure what the coaches were thinking because Moore made an impact in the second half

I think you'll find fly made these moves - Naicos on Cripps in the 3rd as another - and our coaches sat on their hands or our players didn't respond to the change.

Out: Moir, Cowan
In: Boyd, Campo (sub)

Should be more outs but cupboard is bare and don't think McKay and Elijah after 1 month+ effectively of not having a run should be walk up starts (that is if they've put their hand up to play).

I’d leave Moir and white in. Especially white, think he will get better and definitely has what we need.
See how Carrol goes in the twos, but I’d nearly bring him in for Cowan. Boyd a watch as well. Harry comes in if ready.
Yup agree on these moves it would be a refreshing change of attitude.
Unfortunately it won’t happen, if we lose to Eagles and Roos the week after it should just about seal Vossy’s fate. He’ll be shown the door at some point during or end season.

I agree on Gov and Doc but can't see how you do not include Acres

I've never seen Acres not put his body on the line - simple as that. He may be a bit out of form, coming off back surgery, but he works his arse off both ways and for that he gets a reprieve. Happy for Lucas to supplant him at some stage this year, but would rather that was earned.

Out: Doc, Mots, Cow (inj), Young, Acres
In: Carroll, Harry, Moir, Cotts, Binns /Campo

Haynes Weiters Gov
Carroll Jsos Saad
Walsh Cripps Binns/Campo
Ollie Harry White
Kemp Charlie Moir

TDK George Lord

Zac Cotts Cez

Sub: Durdin

Notes:

White needs to stay in
Moir to start (it's the Eagles), when he tires bring in Durds
Obviously assuming Harry will be right
Carroll (it's the Eagles give him a shot)
Binns/Campo (could not do any worse than Acres at this point)

Would have liked to have dropped some others but no viable replacements at the moment.

Ffs Voss make some sort of statement re standards in regard to selection.
