No Worrell or Elliot. Daicos and Bont on the bench. Cameron as captain (well played to Jezza, knew it was a genuine pisstake).

It's no different from any other year, it just affects you more.

Worrell unlucky, but hardly worse than Sicily being left out for Tom Stewart, who missed a third of the season. Battle at least, has had a great year and could win our BnF.

They picked almost everyone in position they play, it was a fine job. Better than previous years.

Serong and Richards over Holmes is puke-worthy.

Richards is fine.

Serong had a good year but is the "lucky" midfielder IMO. A bit up and down, often doesn't hurt you at all with his disposal. I knew with his clearance and contested possessions he'd get in though.

The most coach votes out of himself, Worrell and Vlaustin who apparently deserved it more.

I guess coaches think its important to beat up on 4th and 5th string forwards. BTW: he spent at least 40% of game time playing on 4th and 5th string forwards like Curnow, Cameron, Georgiades, Walker, Amiss, etc. and none kicked more than 2 goals on him (only Cameron got 2) and many times he only had 1 or even 0 goals kicked on him.

And more than that, they barely even got a touch.

I guess the fact that they couldnt kick many goals on Battle does in fact make them 4th or 5th string forwards.



True, but without him you'd have been nearly as bad as WCE.

Why are coaches votes important to selecting the AA squad? It’s a completely different award selected in a completely different way

Today I learnt that Andrew Dillon, Eddie Betts, Jude Bolton, Nathan Buckley, Kane Cornes, Abbey Holmes, Glen Jakovich, Laura Kane and Matthew Pavlich are not the great football minds that we give them credit for.

If you heard them speak you’d know most of them are full of shit.

Dillon, Kane, Jakovich, Pav, Bucks, Cornes have some of the worst opinions on football I’ve ever seen

Battle only 33 over Vlastuin 29 and the Hawks won so much more games, more chance of getting credit in coaches votes from both coaches.
