To a point I agree.
But putting a zero on field means you are also accepting a emergency.
If your emergency scored 40 that needs to be taken into consideration

OK Anyone who has Gawn & TDK & put the VC on TDK I have worked out a way to possibly still get his 148VC score.
In my case I don't have any rookies playing on the ground after Saturday night so it makes it easier.
So Boyd plays early on Sunday so if he scores well maybe 80+ and the Dees vs GWS game is pissing down rain I'm not confident in Gawn going massive.
We could Swap Gawn > Flex and trade Flynn > Livingstone for the Donut and still get Boyd & Gawns scores.

Why anyone is worrying about a 0 in round 1 to take a VC score when Gawn is playing Lachie ****ing Keeffe, in a match expected to have a ton of stoppages & he has a good midfield back…

I mean sure he could get a knock or start the year slow, but in 99% of universes he shits out a 150+ with 60 hitouts, ~15-20 disposals & 5-10 marks. You play the percentages. The percentages suggest it will be a ruck massacre. Darcy Cameron 164 the benchmark v Keeffe

I’ve done Sheezel VC & will need 180 to bother with a non playing rookie. Again it’s a very high chance Gawn will go 150+ and it’s not worth losing cash gen to get those few points.
