Just Macrae & Sinclair for me last night. Couldn’t justify the $ spend on Bont, so will target him now in a couple of weeks.

Me too. What’s with a Test innings netting the same output as a T20 innings these days? Gone are the Hayden and Langer 500 run innings.

I have 6 premos out to the bye and most of my opponents have 2-3. Just bad fixturing.

Something is not right with him this season - always has a chance to score well, but hardly does score well this season

Roma is not a good ruckman.

He is not your true tap ruckman. In ruck contests he relies on trying to move his opponent off first before coming back to the ball.

He is never going to get mass points with hit outs to advantage as that is not his go.

He is a workhorse around the ground and you can see why the Saints are all in on TDK.

Fair enough - but, I remembered him doing better in previous years when I didn't have him in my team of course!

Maybe, he has always been like that - but, you don't pay as much attention to a player until they are in your SC team

Bont being Bont I thought he’d be good for 110+ but just hasn’t looked like it

However he’ll come good around SC finals and we’ve got him so when the inevitable injuries ruin the best laid plans he’ll be in the team already

Still sucks not having a 120 to his name last night however

hit the nail on the head there. always racked his points up round the ground, not in ruck contests

we've been considered a crap midfield for a long time, but it would certainly look like a much better midfield if we had a decent ruck.

one of the reasons we've run with physical, congestion type mid setup and not added speed /flair as they all have to play as defensive mids.

Steele for example, has dropped off the uber premo ranks, as any flair he had has been slowly sucked out of him having to play the way he does.

Wouldnt stress too much, he will go big and you want him anyways. Non-owners got lucky really.

You'd think it'd be Smith based on the fact that they've named five small-medium defenders: Laird, Hinge, Smith, Milera and Michalanney.

But then again, Nicks has named Lachie Murphy for an AFL game in the big 2025, so trying to apply logic to his selection process might be be futile.
