I'm not massively into metal, but I saw them live at Wacken about 25 years back, and they were bloody fantastic. Them, Immortal and Opeth are the metal bands that had me considering buying some black for my wardrobe after catching their performances. Decided I'd rather get laid though than hang out with 95% blokes in that scene. My metal mates pretty much never met chicks, but I respected their dedication.

Same for a lot of trends, you join the tribe, and that’s one less to worry about. But that said….i went from pastel colours mullet to alt rock retro op shopper in no time. And I was cool….(yeah…man)
