We'd probably throw Jamarra a lifeline with that extra rookie spot, is that what they're hinting at?
Let’s all stop talking about thisThere goes a future first rounder
It won’t be that good…disastrous
Oh, you mean that he nominated a club and will be traded for a pittance because we have now become irrelevant in the trade?A future 3rd they were saying on trading day, which could be a pick in the 50's.
So nothing sustancial, wouldn't have impacted.
Nose?It may be his Mum pushing the trade because she’s sick of cooking for him and wiping his nose.
Grubby should be selling chamois’s at the showGrubby Allen strikes again.
I hope he’s better than that tbh. Loved Checkers, but he was a 30-40 goal workhorse. I want West to do what Morris has done at the Lions. But Westy is going to be the second coming of Brodes.
Tell Leppa deadline day is 24hrs earlier so he rocks up a day late to get the trade doneWell this Simpkin news just made our trade period interesting again all of a sudden.
This has deadline day all over it if we’re actually set on him.
Explain your reasoning? Post like these annoy the hell out of me. No strategy? We have a 2nd round pick this year and future picks. We are obviously not interested in Petracca (i'm glad, too expensive) and had a crack at JSOS which didn't turn out. We've seemed to do well in getting a young tall forward (position of need) to ask for a trade to us and have options on cheap picks in defence. The clear need is midfield. Oliver was not available until about 4 days ago, and the other midfielders mentioned are Simpkin and Steele both who've had some links to us in media rumours. Now here's the kicker. We got the BIG FISH last year, and that's why we don't have as much currency this year. AND one of the generational midfield talents is potentially in play next year which means, there's every chance that keeping future picks is part of the plan, the strategy and the groundwork.absolute amateur hour by us this year, no plan, strategy or groundwork…. Real scattergun approach. If it’s Simpkin, prefer we just keep our money. Somehow, we can’t make the most of being the biggest club in the country.
I cannot understand this at all. We are going to lose fair few senior players over the next year or so.So trade show now
JUH - Dimma is the master and will make this work with him in GC
Oliver - going from a poor culture to the best in the business with Kingsley and the bargain of the last 10 years
Petracca - GC will handover picks 7 & 8 and return a pick in the 20’s ??????
Collingwood - why we are old, no salary cap, Naicos drums beating and fly losing it
****en bunch of bed wetting mother ****ing campaigner!
This thread is careering away at light speed, and nothing is happening.
I wonder what would happen if we were linked with someone good.
The Magpies had expressed interest in Melbourne onballer Clayton Oliver, but have now set their sights on Simpkin, who this masthead revealed last month was unhappy with his midfield time after finishing the season in a wing role.
Simpkin is contracted until the end of the 2029 season, so it would likely take a strong first-round pick to convince the Kangaroos to part with him.

So if we do proceed, what we offering.Well this Simpkin news just made our trade period interesting again all of a sudden.
This has deadline day all over it if we’re actually set on him.
