Pedlar was textbook front and square then and then the ball just didnt come to him cleanly. Its been like that all day for him.

Sholl is playing 2s for a reason, Laird plays half back and its exactly the reason people want him dropped.

There is no way known Pedlar's getting delisted this offseason. You cutting our list 7 or 8 deep, cos I can think of several players that you can make a case should go before him.

We will make the bare minimum of list changes.

Why? Because we already have a young as hell list. We've been trading in experience, so we wont want to make ourselves any less experienced than we have to.

We've taken only two draftees in each of the last two drafts and I suspect it'll be one, two or max 3 this year (we haven't taken more than 3 since 2020)

That's kind of what I'm saying, there is no way to know what happens here, but Pedlar would be a bubble list change in my list (being the 7th person cut). In no way shape or form would Pedlar get delisted under Reid, but Roughhead is a different story.

Also our list isn't that young anymore (9th for experience, 7th for age) and we've had a few years of low draftee in take. Equally, the other problem looming is we're about to hit expansion drafts, so if a new recruiting manager wants to put his stamp on a list, this is the year to do it.

We're not trading in experience because we're a young list, we're doing it because we're a mid-tier side who is trying to transition into a genuine contender. We also have a lot of players who are on the fringes of the best 23.

We're just driving Walters price up, we don't care about him on our list.

It’s probably a bit thinner than it seems but we probably have more than most clubs I’d think. Assuming Tex retires it’s TT Fog Murray Ludo Marsh(maybe) Welsh. not sure we really need another key forward on the list.
