Not going to be easy, we might end up having to trade out a player we'd rather keep to get some draft currency. El Souki would be our first priority out of our club-linked guys, he's a big talent.

Clubs seemed to have pinpointed which 2027 players they rate highly to get games into early. Oskleigh have a decent bunch of bottom agers on their list but pointed to a select (Kravic. McCullough, Adams and Condello) to prioritise. Now Lawford getting games.


Woolhouse and Fogarty were supposed to be two of the better oakleigh top agers I thought coming into this year.

Rooks the only bottom ager for northern playing I think. They are pretty strong overall.
They should get games into Zain Nayef and Koby McDonald. Tanner is another that played some u18 games as a 15-16 year old but hasn’t managed to crack into the team, given the way they are playing it’s understandable.

Some of the 2026 players are very good. Better than last years crop but not quite as talented as next year.

Thought Woolhouse was the more impressive of him and Marsic on Friday. But both had some good moments.

About time 188cm athletic midfielder GWV Rebel Ethan Drever started to get more fanfare from Twomey and co, been dominant in a fairly ordinary Rebels team with not a whole lot of support around him in a side with quite a few underagers playing. 1st round potential without a doubt.

Good to see him show some midfield exposure, he reminds me a bit of Josh Goater as a junior. Might still settle as a half back at the next level

Way bettter kick than Josh Goater just for starters way better composure and much higher footy I.Q.

Gippy Power playing 6 bottom agers every game so far with another one injured - these were the 7 that they had in the vic country 16s squad last year.
Dent, Little, Stephenson, Allsop, Henwood and Fisher. Pendergast has been injured but I expect he will come straight into the team once ready. They have also played Thorley in 2 games. When the school kids leave they may give a couple of others a few games.
