Crazy that half the games that are later on, are more promising, and they won’t be on Ch7. I’m surprised they’re putting a second game on to clash with Dreamtime. I understand neither team are pulling up trees at the moment, but Dreamtime is an important game for what it represents.

It’s not like it’s the fist time the Dreamtime game is on at the same time as another game

To be fair, before the renovations at Kardinia Park, it wasn’t up to hosting games against Essendon or Carlton. It’s at a level now where no team is too big to go down there.

Yeah possibly fair enough for the 2000s, not denying it was still a pretty shoddy ground then, it's why nobody at Geelong ever talked about playing finals there until the facilities were up to standard in 2013. But just going to point out that Carlton played in Darwin in 2005, Wellington in 2015 and Launceston in 2016 before they finally went back to Geelong in 2019.

But even from 2014 to now it's still 11 Bulldogs games compared to no Collingwood games, two Hawthorn games (one with no crowd), three Carlton games (one with no crowd), and four Essendon games (one against Gold Coast).

I don't get it. The Adelaide v Brisbane game at Adelaide Oval this year was electric. Our game was obviously close, being a draw... but I'm not exactly desperate to watch the replay

They held off on the Geelong/St Kilda 2009 GF rematch until Round 13 in 2010 and even scheduled the first-ever MCG H&A game between the teams because they were hoping to recapture the lightning in a bottle from the 2009 sold out Docklands game where we were both 13-0.
