A loss would be disappointing but not sure it's the worse thing as I think the Matilda's have been underperforming over the last couple of years, and all too often we've struggled to put the ball in the back of net in important matches

We seem to perform quite comfortably in games against minnows, but when facing strong opposition or those who are willing to just throw players behind the ball & defend, we seemingly have no answers

With a home world cup in July next year, maybe it's time to have a genuine review into things because what we're doing just isn't working at the moment

Yeah I agree. Either struggle to score, or let in too many easy goals. They're a golden generation but a wasted one too. Tonight they should have had the game sewn up after 30 minutes but missed so many gettable opportunities. They'll have one chance next year to really rewrite that history of near misses.
