Well generally l base my decisions off a progression of work based on previous data and attempts by the club to recruit a small forward Durdin Owies Evans Motlop fogarty etc etc

Got it. The last few were ordinary, so if Talor isn't a gun after 3 or 4 games then that means he must be as well. Makes total sense...

This may sound harsh but it wasn’t bad luck. It was a regulation shot and we all knew he would miss it. Didn’t want the ball. Another non killer.

Do we have a single player who can sieze the moment?

A shame because in earlier games he did look the type of guy who wanted the ball in his hands. Hope he hasnt been Carlton'd.

I was at the captain's run last week in Adelaide...had a photo with Lij and he was really sketchy. He's clearly on some sort of meds. I personally don't think it's an illicit thing...I've got mates on anti depressants that sometimes are out of whack. Either way shouldn't have taken the field.

Has there been a drug test or something published? Are we able to give on of our own the benefit of the doubt in the aftermath of a clearly concerning performance? Same week someone connected to the AFL world has taken their own life, have a think about what you post online ffs

? Most posts here stat that they don't know what happened. It was obvious there was some issue and the question is mostly why was he on the ground (whatever the reason)

Holllands on Daicos massive mistake. Cerra did better.

Was impressed Carrolls game.

You can tell last quarter a few through the middle transitions we just mucked up and turned it over. Shows where we are at and that too big reliance on contested game and not the transition game. Didn’t help Harry wasn’t there. But good teams adapt

I dread another coach sacking. Groundhog Day. 31 years and counting. Painful.
This won’t be a coach sacking as much as a transition after the coach’s contract has finished.

This being handled very differently than previous CFC coach sackings.

We have talent on our list, learning how to run & carry still, apparently. 😳

It’s time to move on from Voss - how we transition now is being managed by Wright.

So many times Collingwood cleared congestion with precision handball and then passed to a team mate in space.
We couldn't stick a tackle ... they were too good.

I'm surprised we didn't lose by a lot more.
That’s about being well drilled, how you set up around the ball, knowing where your team mates will be.

Clear as day C’wood are well used to their game style - we look like we’ve never transitioned before…

No need to transition when you can just win 100% of stoppages! (right?)

Last night was exactly what I expected

Yet, for some reason I feel worse than ever. This club has worn me down
I’m with you Soapy. No faith in the selection committee, absolutely knew we’d be out coached on the night. Expected a loss and worst of all, feel absolutely gutted again.

Just when you think it’s not going to get worse, Lij happens.

I have come to the conclusion our list isn’t that bad .. we have decent players but no system…
Why do we back off the mark and guard space so much …
Why do 3 defenders fly at the ball at the same time
Why do we kick to the pocket at every kick out
Why do we miss so many easy goals
Why don’t we hold our ground
Why is our midfield scared
I feel for Byrne but you need to kick those mate… we miss too many
Voss is done !!!
Also that will be the worst pies team we ever play and we still didn’t win with no injuries .. how
Remember the good old days where we’d just do that whole flappy bird thing pre stand joke and still let opponents run around us with no pressure. Not a collective footy IQ in the joint since 2002.

Bit scary that was effectively the best team we could pick for the year; not sure there’ll be too many weeks with no one (HOF and Motlop aside) on the injury list.

I still can’t get over the number of silly piddly mistakes our players dished out.

Mistakes are amplified when there's no real system backing them up. When Collingwood players get into a bit of strife, they know exactly where their team mates will be and where to dish the ball...when you have no idea what's going on around you, panic sets in and you make dumb mistakes.

Take Daicos out of the Pies side and are they THAT much more talented than us? I wouldn't have thought so...they are just well coached.

And is there ANY chance our blokes could stay on their feet? The number of times we outnumbered them in a contest and our blokes ended up on the ground and a Collingwood player just kept their feet and ran off...embarrassing.

And just on Hollands, I can cut them some slack pre-game. These episodes can be triggered by many different things...so he may have seemed fine in the rooms. But once they became aware something wasn't right during the game, something should have been done to get him off far earlier.

Unfortunately we are a rabble, Admin, MC and players, the whole club are just losers who cannot get anything right.

The club excels in non football related fluff.
