Which “inspiring” fwd Coach did we overlook to appoint Goldsack?Goldie is such an uninspiring forward coach hire. Probably just all about forward pressure like it was when he played as a forward under Buckley
He also has "BLAM!" in his name.Blamires is one we should have gone after. Having a good season so far
Big tick for me just on that. No idea if he’s any good thoughHe also has "BLAM!" in his name.

I’m still recovering from the Archer May and Jy Simpkin heartbreak. If we miss out on old Blamy too it’ll just about end me.Oh, gawd, now it we missed on Tom Blamires, will file next to should have picked up Will Brodie.

Just need David Kapow and Stephen Whack and our list is taking shape nicely
I’d just like to point out that McStay was going at 1.43 goals a game in 2023 whether right now he’s currently at 1.67 a game. For those worried about a leading forward.
One piece of play from the 2023 PF is forever etched in my memory.
Dan charging out from FF and Nick hitting him on the chest.
Dan was fit and full of confidence, (then did his knee).
This stat is going to piss people off massivelyI’d just like to point out that McStay was going at 1.43 goals a game in 2023 whether right now he’s currently at 1.67 a game.
If he keeps his current scoring rate up he’s on track for his best season goal kicking wise.
Don’t forget Jackson Callow, man was the next Plugger going off the meltdowns when he wasn’t pickedI’m still recovering from the Archer May and Jy Simpkin heartbreak. If we miss out on old Blamy too it’ll just about end me.![]()
Yeah. He's ****ing up too much with the ball but he's been fine. It's always the way that what's viewed as a good game where you did your job in a win is viewed as inadequate in a loss. He and Membrey are fine ok AFL players individually - but collectively they're yuk. Shooter is a lot better than fine, but as a forward alongside those 2, he adds to the general yuk. It's a really bad mix - all grunt with no class.I’d just like to point out that McStay was going at 1.43 goals a game in 2023 whether right now he’s currently at 1.67 a game.

Attempting to take off the Collingwood blinders for one second, how many here actually believe we're a genuine chance of getting Butters?
Because I'm not sure how we could pull it off.
The only possible scenario I see Port Adelaide even remotely entertaining (and not necessarily accepting), is:
- This year's first, whatever that may be
- Next year's first
- Beau McCreery
The reason I say this is because I expect Port to match any offer we throw at Zac, forcing us to trade.
I don't think Hawthorn and the Bulldogs will have any better draft hand than we would? (unless I'm forgetting something) given they will both most likely finish higher than us this year.
We also seemingly have more cap space than both.
I think we can get him and no matter what people say, the trade would get done if he nominated us.Attempting to take off the Collingwood blinders for one second, how many here actually believe we're a genuine chance of getting Butters?

If Butters declares he wants to come to us we’d be negligent not to move heaven and earth to facilitate it. I’ve got a bad feeling the Geelong flogs will perfectly time this as a Dangerfield replacement and actually get stronger. **** I’m sick of those campaignersI think we can get him and no matter what people say, the trade would get done if he nominated us.
It's just going to be so dependent on how we perform this season. If we fail to even win a final then we won't be an exciting proposition. Whereas Hawthorn are probably one good midfielder away from being heavy favourites.
I genuinely think we're going to get Ben King. Even though it contradicts what I said above, he could propel us to contenders again as it's a glaring weakness for us. Even with Butters, who are we kicking to?

You just can’t imagine these three guys chaining possessions between them to generate a score. Just couldn’t happen at AFL level.Yeah. He's ****ing up too much with the ball but he's been fine. He’s a good fit for them. But this suggests he’s playing like Josh Treacy. His stats are on par with mcstay. My view is the club can’t win. Trying to get younger, moves one on, now the media query it. If he’d stayed, he’d be included in the oldies the media talk about
