When was the last time he rucked a full game?

Serious question, because my memory says he played at most 40-50% ruck when he played.

Collingwood has a lot of set plays for him, and a lot of blocking and he is not athletic enough to get free of his man. Can we replicate these?

They also try and move the ball lightning fast which we don't. So planting a tree on the field might actually be better for us than it is for them, you don't look immobile when the ball isn't moving.

If you can't move the ball then you may as well fold

If we turn it over less and then mark our way to set shots with the biggest players on the ground our opponents will either try and play small, giving up the marks, and trying to outrun us or play tall to block the marks a bit and get outrun.

You have to be able to move the ball quickly and aggressively at times, and also slowly and stiflingly accurately at times as well, depending on game situation and the opposition. I am not saying we are perfect at either game or necessarily our timing, but we clearly demonstrated throughout the season that we are working to be able to do both well when needed.

Also how will the bevvy of primetime games affect our preparation, the odd evening training session in the preseason might be nice?

This killed me last season (probably more so the players), got really sick of it being 40 degrees at the footy.

That game against the Swans in round 2 killed me, section 148 directly in the sun all day. Upgraded my seats this morning to the train station side mainly for that reason.
