Just watched Towner's highlights tape on the club website. So glad he's staying and well handled by the club - honest with him about prospects, gives opportunity to look around but underwrites him by promising to rookie him. Only thing to make this story better would be if we found out that Towner had told the Swans he'd rather get rookied by Richmond than get picked up by them coz hes a Tiger.

Is it time for Towner to get back in the team and be the guy to do all the little team things, and then when Cotch and Dusty return run interference for them? Although his stats are not amazing by themselves, I always seem to think that the boys walk a bit taller with him and Caddy in the side.

Yes, get him back in to tag Dusty's tagger and play forward. Townsend should be instructed to lay some serious tackles and lay some bumps,if he gets suspended he can freshen up and go again.
