Saints fans should be seething along with their playing group, staff et al. Hasn't even played a game and let the entire club down on his first day.

Jakes made his bed now and on serious coin which is a undeniably high pressure situation, arguably higher than the WADA bs as WADA is still going... He has burnt St Kilda on his first day and almost divided the Fan base...

The only way out is he has to preform which is still not a given because he has shown to be a seriously neurotic world against me dummy spitter, team disloyalty and a very large disregard for authority...

Pressure gets everyone and I think he has made a massive mistake moving house for $$$ and now putting the microscope fair and square on his little egotistical self...

I wish him well but the more I think about it I think he has set himself up to fail...

I'm sure he can struggle for two years, then we'll trade him back in for a fourth round pick.

St Kilda can be our Alan Bond - they already know all about dodging creditors.

Were this at the start of the season, I'd be more worried for his state of mind. The fact that he can lay relatively low for a couple of months should allow it all to settle down a bit. Hopefully some good news on the WADA front will ease his mind (and a few others!) again.

If an awkward first meeting in front of 50-odd blokes is required to commence a 700k p/a job, I'm sure most people would manage. When all is said and done, when confident this guy can play footy at an elite level. I'm sure that'll help their supporters forget about this stuff in the media now.

Despite all the stuffing around and Jake's latest boof head performance i have to say that the Saints ended up ok as well.
They could have jumped early and given away 5 or given away 5 to get Carlisle and 23 but they did not. They did a back flip on 5 but they did
end up with Carlisle and 14.

Without a doubt. What else would a cashed up 20-something do in their spare time? Coke washes out of the system in half an hour or so and won't affect your skinfolds. Most of them just have the good sense not to post it on social media.

They did do well in the end. They basically fell ass backwards into it but they came away with a good result.
