Only 56% time on ground - needs to work to build that up.
Understandable - his first game back so managing his minutes. With 2MPs injury he will have to take more minutes though.
Unfortunate because it would have been better to manage him more - will be interesting if they ask him to ruck solo. I think Cox to give him a chop out, which will save him from being dropped.
Not too many other second ruck options…?

Visentini, Blackiston?

It was his second game back - this week will be his third. And he had three or four in the VFL. Should really be ready for primary ruck game time now

He's probably another preseason off 'really' being ready for it. You don't rebuild the fitness base a few weeks back from an ACL and the ruck is incredibly demanding.

All I want is for him to not get reinjured. Don't care if he doesn't register a single hit out for the rest of the year.

He has always been super fit though. Not like Draper. You’re probably right he won’t be at full fitness until next year, but I’d back him to be able to run out a game. We kinda need to see if he’s any good too

For the record, he only had 56% TOG against freo, which was our lowest.
Full game projects to about 20 possessions, so not exactly terrible.
