Pretty crazy reading back through this thread to see how opinions of Cale have changed.
Here's a few gems.

Hooker is not the future for us for mine, he decision making and disposal are poor, but for those thinking that we can trade him for a mid are dreaming!

I thought he should have been named in the All Aus team. Not his fault he had to move for sake of the team. He was leading the intercept marks or around that mark before he moved forward. He had a better year than Gibson anyway.

Now we have three All Aus in the team that we have drafted and developed, apart from Jobe. Sigh. We should be in the top 4 and playing in the Prelim Final. Bloody Dank and Weapon, and AFL, ASADA and WADA. Completely stuffed up our progression.

It will be nice if Zacka or Zerrett can step up and become an all aus. Even Daniher has a potential to take that huge stride.

Very fast. 2.88 in the 20m sprint and a 7.94 in agility, with good endurance all at 195cm. Seems like an athlete, but can he play footy?

The scary thing about Hooker is that his physical capabilities have been dramatically limited by injury.

Check out the post quoted above setting out his sprint test results.

Add the mobility he had as a junior and he is not just the best defender in the game by a long way. He'd be encroaching on all time territory.

I seem to recall reading somewhere that part of the penalty handed out by the AFL was a requirement for us to hold onto and go out and recruit has beens to clogg our list up.

It's probably for the best. He is clearly a better defender than forward. Worried about who partners Joe though.
