There is a womens 50 over Cricket World Cup at 7:30pm AEST . This game was scheduled to be a bit of pre-cursor for the main. TV have a specific allocated time to squeeze the games is my thinking.

This is all over, the Aussies have won the Chappell Hadlee Trophy by default but at least the weather looks better for tomorrow.

Probable, less rain around now but still there'll be spots.
Rain was heavier earlier, but there's still bands round and it's coming from the south and going NW-W so Bay of Plenty is just getting drenched for like the next week.
Cumulative rain instances for the north continent, the big central blue blotch, that's Hamilton area, direct west of where Bay oval is on the coast and the general drift in NW-W from the south in the current rain band.
So last game was a straight north and mad rain from the south, so just kept dumping it.
This game, no real mad deluge, just smaller rain bands so, will be stop-go in all liklihood.
MetService Tauranga and you'll be able to see current things rain wise for the Bay of Plenty area, look between Hamilton, Tauranga and Thames on the coast side and you'll find Bay Oval.
At present, toss is delayed cause yeah it was raining until like maybe 20 mins ago?
