**** I hate Lyon and everything he stands for...he has done nothing good for this sport.

I blame the AFL for their usual knee jerk reaction. So what if Lyon wants to rest players, concept is unlikely to catch on long term since it never results in premierships. But, no, the AFL have to run around like headless chooks over it

this is dead easy... low hanging fruit and all that!

1. gary Ablett jnr
2. nathan jones
3. scott thompson (the crows one...)

Oh...hang on...wait a minute... did someone say BOLD? Oops... must get my optical prescription checked.

Luke Hodge will save a kid from shark attack by killing the shark with his bare hands and the headline will read Hawks Captain kills kids pet.

Mitchell will walk on to the MCG and in the prcess lift each knee slightly, this will cause Nat Fyfe to die in WA, and still play in the 6 rounds after his death and win the brownlow by polling 6 votes in each game after knocking out an umpire with his elbow.

Buddy will kick 0 goals 12 behinds in each game against the Hawks and be given a week off with a head ache, caused by his missus' constant drivel in the same week he charges at a prone player whos head is over the ball.

1) Cyril Rioli takes mark of the year, immediately plays on and kicks goal of the year
2) Josh Gibson retires after 4th premiership to move to LA to pursuit acting career
3) Stratton to win B&F

TV gambling and supercoach would have complained, can't upset the "fans"

Richmond win a final and celebrate like they won the grand final, then get thumped in their next final.

Geelong, Port Adelaide and West Coast struggle for any momentum throughout the season, but the media relentlessly pump them up as 'coming home strong'.

A substandard muppet team, on the back of a strong preliminary final win against poor opposition, will be hailed as 'sentimental favourites' and 'people's champs', before being summarily executed by the hawthorn juggernaut in the grand final.

Sorry, mate - we were chasing the 2016 predictions, not a recount of 2013, 2014 & 2015;)

1. More footballers & celebrities to use unspecified "mental illness" as an excuse to avoid taking any responsibility for their ****ups
2. AFL endorsed media talking heads to lead the campaign for Essendon* to receive a priority pick
3. Umpiring interpretations of at least one major rule to undergo a 180 degree polarity switch before the H&A season is dusted

- Jimmy Bartel to retire during the season

- Hawks to lose to Geel, WCE and Adel to be 2w 3l after round 5, go on a 12 match win streak, only to lose to the tigers in rnd 18.

- WCE also to be 2w 3l after round 5.

Cyril very much a possibility

Gibbo wont do acting, but he may very well move to LA to help his mate Tim Clarke expand his coffee shop business (clarke runs a very successful small chain in NYC, that sent a wall st starbucks out of business)
Gibbos missus is a gossip reporter based in LA too

My 3

Shem to play 5-10 at afl level
Schoenmakers to be league leading goalkicker (absolute dead eye requiring few shots to make them pay)
Hawthorn player decapitated. Player that did it escapes suspension
