Still a lot to play out with the 2019 draft. But the fact that two of our top picks haven’t played at all this year means alarm bells are ringing. Not mention moving on pick 8 (Caleb Serong) who is looking more than handy.
One was injured though
Comben a tall
Don't think that's entirely fair

Shame we haven’t been able to see the likes of Charlie and Flynn get a game.
One a KPF with growing pains
One coming off an ACL
We haven't even made our picks yet with regards to what we moved on for Serong
Think you're like 2-3 years too early on this one RF08
Why can’t people understand, if we hadn’t of moved on pick 8 it was most likely we would have had to use it on TT. Another team would have bid on him to make us use it.This could go down as one of the silliest decisions we've made in the draft (and that's saying something).
We should be aiming for quality 200+ game players in the 1st round, not playing with picks to get some sort of statistical points gap advantage against rival teams.
The Dees would be thrilled with getting Pickett and wouldn't give a toss about what they gave up for him, as they should be. Whilst we will watch Serong have a great career yet we watch Mahony peak at 19 yo and hope a wild stab in the dark with Melbourne's 1st pick thanks to Corona works out to be half as good as Serong ends up.
Instant gratification syndrome. Look back in 3-5 years and judge a draft.
At this point in time our 2019 draft strategy is equal chance a balls up or a master stroke.

****, can’t keep up with all the bitching and moaning about drafts.Wrong year there sire.
There's one guarantee in life - draft a kid to NM & watch his first 2-3 years be crippled by serious injury after serious injury. Is it bad luck or bad management? I sincerely hope it's the former. Although do other clubs have so many draftees succumb to stress fractures????So 10 weeks ago we were told he had a stress fracture in his back which had healed again and a clean out of his knee and was about to start running.
Nothing to see here, just another draftee losing their first season to injury.
fu**, can’t keep up with all the bitching and moaning about drafts.
Putting it that way, we just got an extra first rounder due to not having to use on TT? That's awesome! Why can’t people understand, if we hadn’t of moved on pick 8 it was most likely we would have had to use it on TT. Another team would have bid on him to make us use it.
Mate, Neale is at $1.60. It’s all over.I came in here for a Charlie update![]()
