‘Comfortable at the level’ would seem to me to be a disservice to the young man. He looks like a future star. Size, pace and his handballs hit the chest of the teammate. Where the hell did he learn that!!! Great to see.

ThisWith his size, speed and agility, how long before Clarko gives in to the temptation to throw him in the middle?
Imagine him, LDU and JHF monstering opposition centre square set ups.

Yeah I’m with youI’ll go there again, don’t you worry.
Every one of those guys you mentioned was drafted later than Goat and JHF. They are all solid second rounders, ranked there for a reason.Hey Micky we’ve been here before - gloating on the highway robbery with Clarke , EVW , will Walker and the like.
And with the build of a rakeTbh I’m more used to North debutantes taking about 5 years to look comfortable at senior level. This guy looks like he’s played 100 games. Very encouraging.
He just looks like a future 250 gamer . Almost Clarko era @ the Hawks type of player they would go for or produce .And with the build of a rake

Yeah mate, I was pretty high on him - his ceiling is one of the highest in the draft.
He's raw, but has so much to work with.
It’s tempting but we need quick receivers on the outer to capitalise on our midfield dominance. Apart from black holes across CHF and CHB, the wings have suffered for not having players there who can repeat sprint, be the lead up marker on kick ins and feed the ball effectively to forward 50.With his size, speed and agility, how long before Clarko gives in to the temptation to throw him in the middle?

He's already had a better career.looks like he could be the player we hoped Shaun Atley would be. Already a better decision maker.
Said to the wife "hes got wheels" when he did that.giantroo - can we get a GIF of The Goat burning Mac Andrew (?) off on the wing.
Finally a North player looking back and then just turning the jets on!

Based of what you've seen in the VFL and then yesterday; would you hold your view of him being in the top 5-10? I've watched a few VFL games, and his ability to accumulate around the ground seems to have got steadily better, probably as you said, a sign of continually improving endurance.
I'm bullish!
If you specifically want 18, i would replace Bonar with BergmanBoth Leigh Montana and David King were very impressed with his first game on First Crack this evening, they showed and commented on his first kick in AFL saying it was very brave but well executed and set up an excellent goal. Kingy's finished the little 90 second segment with a nice tongue-in-cheek comment, "I'll be surprised if he is not a part of our 2023 premiership team." which i found amusing, and hope is comes true.
In fact Joey is quite positive about our under 24's saying that there are around 18 that will be good starting point for Clarkson as he rebuilds the list. Didn't name them but I'm guessing Larkey, Zurhaar, Curtis, Taylor, Scott, Bonar, Perez, Thomas, Coleman-Jones, Horne-Francis, Goater, Stephenson, Phillips, Powell, Dawson, Davies-Uniacke, Young and Ford.
