Different thing really. Without checking, I'd guess that warmer climates help with soft tissue injury rates somewhat.

None of that really prevents ACL, Achilles or impact injuries, and probably it also means that flying to cooler climates for games would need strong management and preparation cos you’re not used to colder conditions

I think the benefit would be training in the heat, it adds another dimension, would make them be able to push the bodies further.
Thus being stronger and resilient and less likely to break down.
