You know when you watch a player and he just looks. Good...potentially great.
Thats my vibe with Kyle. You just get that vibe.

Same deal with Warner.
First couple of games . Meh.

Then his first real decent go in 2021. Bam.

By the end of the day game at the G vs Richmond. We were all talking about him.
I remember seeing that with Hannebery the first time I saw him in a ressies game and he ended up going okay!

I got that vibe with LRT and Tadgh playing at the start with Port Melbourne when we were aligned

Wicks too. Last year he was a revelation as a disciplined small defender. This year he’s added a greater willingness to dash up the ground. I’m loving it.
Wicks and Harry regularly combining with Hanlihy up the O'Reilly wing was a delightful surprise from Saturday's game - I'm guessing the Tigers coaching staff weren't expecting it either.

Tigers staff put a lot of work into Blakey IMO.
Not so much anyone else.

Kyle's first game was much better than Chad's.

For those who love (or hate) describing players in terms of another player, someone (probably King) described Kyle's most salient passage (the run through the middle and the kick to Heeney) as like watching Blakey, but with shoulders.
the blizzard: b(ig) lizard

The thing that surpsied me most was his hands in close, didn't expect him to be so clean and composed.

same ... and the run through the middle, the one-two, the sweet pass to heeney rather than a blaze at glory
it's like he took the first quarter to sniff the wind, get an idea of the pace of senior football ... then settled in a bit
but that run indicated (to me) that he had very quickly worked out he belonged at this level ...
he probably won't be a regular yet (although i can't see why not) but this kid is in a different league to the handful we've been trying in seniors this past year or so

How do we keep him in the side for a few weeks if Mills is coming back this week is my biggest dilemma.
He looks good at this level just like Serong.

It's okay , there's no rush , he will just get better and better , but remember how long he's played Aussie Rules
