We need our In-Form Players not most Experienced
Seedsman was "useless" because he didn't have a coach who believed in him. If we gave him the proper belief and development, he would have been great for us.
Then why is Toovey playing?
Seedsman was banished from about after the West Coast game from memory. He may have played one or two more games but he was not persisted with.Utter nonsense.Buckley persisted with Seedsman for a number of weeks in the latter part of the season despite his appalling form.

Buckley already did that five years ago the winning culture wasn't good enough for him .,So let's sack the Whole Club and Start from Scratch?
Cloke is someone who should have been a great but has been the victim of bad coaching. He's always had a terrible ball drop. Under Malthouse, coaches were blinded by his ability to kick goals from outside 50 and thus concluded his missing of sitters was a mental issue. Thus his technical issues weren't addressed.
Despite his kicking skills, by the end of 2011, he was probably the best centre half forward in the league. He played a similar style to Riewoldt - continually leading up and back. Due to his size and strong hands, he was awesome on the lead, where he took a lot of contested grabs. He also took a lot of one on one contested marks when he doubled back into space. He took the occasional pack mark, but it was usually when running at a pack rather than standing in it. Then 2012 came around and his role seemed to change to that of a stationary target who stood in the middle of a pcak, wrestling. I reckon this was terrible coaching. I reckon that they looked at his contested marking stats without looking at them in context.
Even ignoring the 2 goals, he had twice as many possessions and hit the scoreboard twice through behinds. He was totally absent in Round 1...completely MIA. Last week, he provided more.
Yet Blair still gets a gameHere's an article that will be in tomorrow's Herald Sun. I have cut and pasted the article for people to do not subscribe to the paper.
COLLINGWOOD should consider trading Travis Cloke if it can’t fix his form slump, former coach Tony Shaw says. Cloke, 29, will sit out Monday’s Anzac Day blockbuster for the first time since his debut in the showcase game in 2005 after being ordered to play in the VFL at Victoria Park on Sunday.
American Mason Cox will make his AFL debut in Cloke’s absence. Cloke, who has kicked just 8.10 from his past 10 matches, was believed to have received some harsh internal feedback during the week.
Shaw said Cloke’s omission should send a powerful message to the underperforming Pies. “It doesn’t matter what reputation you’ve got or how good you’ve been, you’re going to pay a price if you don’t play at the level,” he said. “I don’t think it’s a bold move, I think everyone felt it might have been coming.
He’s 29. If it’s not working now and you thought it wasn’t going to work and you could pick up two draft picks, what do you lose (by trading him)? “I would’ve thought he’d finish his career at Collingwood, but I’ve seen stranger things happen.”
Dermott Brereton said it was too early to write Cloke’s AFL obituary, but didn’t rule out a move from Collingwood. “He’s got a lot more to offer. “Put it this way — if he wasn’t at Collingwood I reckon he’d be the king pin at someone like Fremantle right now. “He’s still mobile, he’s still fit and he’s still got a good pair of hands. “He never was a good kick, so you can’t take that off him. “He’s too good to be in the VFL. If he’s not getting a game at Collingwood and that continues on then he’d definitely be better suited elsewhere.”
Former premiership captain Nick Maxwell said Cloke had not adapted to Nathan Buckley’s game plan. “Mick (Malthouse) was a real boundary coach and that was pretty predictable for Trav,” he said. “At the moment the Pies aren’t predictable at all. They’ve had 16 or 18 different players go through the backline in only four weeks. It is different, it’s a different game plan.”
Cloke’s contract expires at the end of 2017. He was expected to open talks mid-season and seek a three-year extension. Those talks may be put off now.
Cloke left training early on Saturday, declaring: “It’s my opportunity to go back to the VFL squad and get a kick, and see what goes from there”.
I don't understand that other than think that they are trying to make an example of Cloke.Yet Blair still gets a game
If bucks gets sacked... and Cloke gets a recall after his standard afl performances in the vfl... then i'll find a new sport.
Cloke has been hopeless. Bucks had to drop him. Best idea ever.
It's hypocritical thoughI don't understand that other than think that they are trying to make an example of Cloke.
Yes and no. The message Bucks is trying to send is that it doesn't matter who you are, if you are not performing then you are out. So Cloke is the example. Blair has been inconsistent but he has played some reasonable games in the past 15 games. Whereas Cloke has kicked 7 goals in his last 11 games and 6 of those goals were gifted handballs. Furthermore, he did nothing in the 3 pre-season wins. It's hypocritical though
Last year is irrelevant Blair has been probably our worst performing player this year. He has to pay the priceYes and no. Yeh, right. So IF we lose Monday. People will start Boycotting Games with Bucks as Coach?
But you surely know, that once any player leaves Collingwood they automatically become terrific players. If you are going to quote facts don't be selective. Wellingham had one good season with us and was spasmodically good at best. This is his 4th year at WCE and his first two years were crap. Seedsman had one very good game for us and was useless before and after that game. Does this entitle him to stay in the team for how long?. We lived in expectation of better things but they weren't forthcoming. Cloke has done nothing for 3 years. I like Cloke but just because he played in a premiership does not entitle him to keep getting a game when he can't buy a kick. I like your passion however, as one of our onfield leaders and main forward, he needs to set the example and with 7 goals in the past 11 games and five of those goals were from handball receives from the goal square, he is no where near where he should be.
Don't think the club knows you even exist.I'd rather express my displeasure in a way that gets across to the club instead of just copping these ridiculous decisions from club management year after year.
Touche...LOLBut you surely know, that once any player leaves Collingwood they automatically become terrific players.
No players ever leave any club only Collingwood.
I even heard a rumour we lost the GF 2002 because of Buckley.
So IF we lose Monday. People will start Boycotting Games with Bucks as Coach?
We all vote with our feet in terms of memberships and showing up to games. These things clearly are too far above your head.Don't think the club knows you even exist.
Call Ed, tell him.
Why waste time on BigFooty?
Tell Ed, he makes the decisions.
I am sure you are right. We all vote with our feet in terms of memberships and showing up to games. These things clearly are too far above your head.
