Subject: Cloke extension

Have heard from a source in the club that Damir Cloke is still talking with the club for a 2 year extension for Trav - hearing 1 year after 2017 with triggers for a 2nd year. Can't confirm how far they are progressed, but I can confirm Trav does want to stay at the Pies. Want to extract maximum $$$ from the club, but the club only want him as insurance for Darcy until we land the big fish from the "sunshine state" at the end of 2017.

Cloke playing seniors this week as per Bucks on 360.

I love the big boy but what is it with these Clokes and $$$?

If that is all he is after then good bye Clokey......this time it has to be on the Clubs terms just like in 2017.

The funny thing is they signed the 5 year contract and they got blinded by all those numbers in the first 4 years they forgot to read the fine print in the 5th year. :drunk:

We should ask for a refund on the last couple of years and then give it back in 2018

He should be greatful he still has another year at redemption. I understand he'd want income security but after his worst season in edits you'd think the priority would be to hit your KPIs to have something to use as leverage before you go walking in with hand out.


I love cloke and think he could regain his best form, but, to be after another 2 years, based on this year alone is asking for trouble. Surely he wouldn't be offered even 250k at present.

Kick 50+ and lead the league for contested marks then ask for then cash son.


We shouldn't be discussing contract till round 12 next year. Even Buckley knows that if he doesn't perform next year he's gone. Cloke should follow suit.

White is not the answer to protect Moore until his body is physically ready like Cloke's was at the age of 20 when he won the Copeland.

If its the same piemanchu ive seen bob up on there in previous years he has had good mail bfr. Doesn't post much though so who knows.

You can believe it or not. Im just passing on the rumour/scuttlebutt.

EBW gets a lot of good "mail" so when something like that gets posted its interesting to say the least.

I think it's a Pokemon thing. Pretty sure my niece caught one the other day.

At the end of the day if it is true it still wont mean much if Lynch isn't interested.

Guess we will know by this time next year.

Lynch and Moore would be an awesome KPF duo...ah one can dream.

Awesome news if true. We should be keeping Cloke failing another club offering a deal we can't refuse. And if the succession planning is to target a player the calibre of Lynch, I think that's the right thinking also. I'm not sure how we pull off that heist but I'm all for trying.
