Even though he started full training in August, another 3 months to put into the knee rehab probably isn't the worst thing.
The elbow dislocation must have been pretty severe to have surgery, but can't imagine it will have any effect on long term performance.
Hopefully won't make him gun-shy (unsure about how it happened though). Elbow dislocations can be pretty traumatic.
