Be prepared to be disappointed Nostra. Clarko has talked about not having the young kids come in too early and get injured like Will Dawson with his shoulder last year. For that reason I don't think Whitlock plays early in the year.
I would think Will Dawson or Kal Dawson with slightly bigger bodies get selected before him.

Will Dawson is still pretty scratchy picking up the pace of the VFL game, so I'm hoping it's K Dawson or Pink.

Ok fair enough. He did have a bit of an interrupted preseason.
Pink I think wouldn't be quick enough to stay on the lead with Van Rooyen or Jefferson.

I’d like to think clarko selecting Whitlock in the A team ahead of k Dawson in the intra club should bode well for him in terms of pecking order

I have a strong feeling he will have a good solid game. He’s been in our system for what 3 years as a backman? I think we’ll see better structure with him in it

He's in the Lachie Young camp, seems to turn up fit and disciplined, do no more wrong than any of the regulars but be first dropped and last selected everytime.

Lachy Young was a very limited player. Would lose too many contests. K Dawson is a better player IMO, but you're right about being the first dropped and the last picked
