If a journeyman like Matt DeBoer can get a regular gig as a tagger, and make a good fist of it, there is hope for many a player of ours, with no Jacobs we desperately need at least 1 competent at it, maybe even an out of left field choice like say, Sammy Wright in the short term, while Kyron is learning the ropes.

Seems like he's finding his role and getting into some good form off the back of 2018 when he was suffering from a few injuries and I think an operation recovery.

He'd be well suited to an attacking tagger role. He'd have more tackles than the senior team would currently.
Yep, defence wasn't his natural game but it seems that he's picking it up ok. I have only watch a bit of today's game and he looked ok out there. Rickety's correct in that he needs to get some more clear possessions, but that'll come, no doubt for an 18- 19 year old he's bloody strong. Not long and he'll get a shot at it.

Had the knuckles on his right hand looked at late today. Went back on but you would almost expect that, even with a short bench. They were checking it out for a while, certainly 5 or so minutes. At 1st I thought it may have just been a dislocated finger, coz they soooo don't hurt, but looked more like the back knuckle of his ring or middle finger

I was at a game just prior to the draft when he popped one out and the physio and paramedic wanted to send him off to hospital to put it back in, so he just did it himself, taped it up and went back on. I still cringe at the thought of it.

It could even have been split webbing, it didn't really look like they were putting a finger back in, idk.

Straight from the Marley Williams Manuel of First Aid. Love it.

Can't wait to see The Collider finally make his debut.

Went to a sports medicine thing a couple of years back and they had a guy there talking about pain management and pain thresholds, some people have unbelievably high pain thresholds. I think we have a few in this squad.

And then there is D Wells.

Play the kid soon has more mongrel than most on our list
Just watched his game and it looks like he popped out a finger in the 3rd, must have put it back in though he played in the 4th. I agree he's tough, but Brad's not for changing things up.

Just watched the game, looked to have popped a finger on his left hand in the 3rd, if he'd split the webbing there would have been blood and from the vision he looked to be pulling on it.

I think its his dad. Saw Kyron at the Hawks game at the MCG and his dad pretty much escorts him everywhere.

I'm 99% talking out of my ass with that guess, but it'd be pretty funny if it was true.

Having his dad hanging around worked out pretty good for Luke McDonald...
