Cases like Buller's are exactly what the mid-season draft was implemented for. It's never really been a factor for us because the last few years we'd been a contender and those we picked up were always gonna struggle to get a look in. Now we're 13th on the ladder with our talls being decimated this year, and suddenly a star player from the state leagues has a whole lot more appeal!
