"Hold your bloody nerve and stop being such a weathervane"? Or perhaps... "the internet is not the place to look for advice about managing a football club" 🤔

To be fair, if they took all of their advice from the internet we probably wouldn’t have won a final for 16 years...

Langford has been a massive improver this year, only behind Ridley. Although credit to McGrath, Parish, Mosquito and Draper too.
I'm impressed at what a versatile and clever player he's becoming. No he's not and will never be the outright beast that Fyfe is. But he's becoming very good in his own way.

Probably been our most effective link between the midfield and the forward line this year. Which in itself is invaluable.

He's looking really good.

It now seems like we're getting something close to the full array of his talents on display. I think the physical side of his game will now follow as it can often be as much about confidence for a player like Langford whose attack is more about timing than than pure brute force.

He's playing the game in a very similar way to Menegola (less that brute force).

Sometimes a slow burn can be the most satisfying.

They're normally published at the end of the round doug85 but due to the footy frenzy stuff they've been doing regular updates usually one or two days after the game, two or three times each round. You can sub to their email if you want them asap lol

Love that he can still have that impact with out really playing on ball 100% of the time, starting to find it by virtue of a good footy brain and a great tank.

All hail king longfark

One coach voted for Shiel and the other voted for Merrett, but they don't tell you who voted for whom, so you kind of have to guess what criteria you think they were each using.

Fair, his performance was indicative of the side, probably won it the best on the ground but used it the worst.

He has always been a good user of the ball by hand and foot with excellent vision. Now his endurance/fitness is allowing him to get to and get away from contests easier.

Add a smattering of confidence and he is most improved behind Ridley IMO

Also, he is extremely versatile in any wing/forward/midfield position even back at a pinch. Could become our swingman which coaches love.

Shiel was good, think a few forgot that the likes of Merrett and Parish had some bad errors aswell throughout the game hell even Ridley had that one very poor kick in the first half.

He worked hard, but needs a stack more composure. For the amount of uncontested ball he won he was atrocious by foot going at about 45%.

Reckon all our Injuries and the forced time fwd might have given him the spurt of confidence he needed to kick on, he took it upon him self to take a few grabs and slot some goals and from there the belief has risen steadily.

Reckon clubs will be sniffing ,better get the scribble done
