Big week for Sonsie. He has clean hands and the ball will be on the deck so it should suit him. It won't be overly quick so another advantage. But also hard to judge players properly in such conditions, unless you are Trent Cotchin.

Speaking of Cotchin, Sonsie needs to take a leaf out of his book (yes a high benchmark). Last week Sonsie came in a really surprised GC early. But they put some time into him after half time, (Hardwick would know very well how to do that), and he pretty much disappeared. He needs to channel Cotch on what to do when that happens, which is to go hard and do the team thing.

So big test this week. Even if he doesn't have a great day, and the weather could ensure that, he at least needs to go hard for 4 quarters and show mental toughness. If he can do that then he will gain some belief, because it is all within his ears, his skills as we saw last week are fine.

Hope the coaches have positively reinforced his performance to him, with suggestions how to deal with stuff. And then I hope he does turn it on more. he is close to TT, and TT deals with that sort of crap every game.

Needs to stop these 2md half fade outs.

To be fair, anyone playing forward in the second half of this game didn't see the pill. Greene was lively in the first half but unsighted in the second aswell. Seems like Sonsie was playing forward pocket alot in the second while they tried to move Grlj and Campbell onto the ball.

Definitely one of his better games. Needs consistency, though.

If this was the 80s/early 90s, you'd use him like the Hawks did Russell Greene.
Bide their time and bring him on as the second-half specialists and watch him run amok.
Alas four quarters seem well beyond him, as does three.
