I've been whelmed at times.

this guy is a beast. he played his heart out and we need that muscle in the forward line. Once he gets some clear space and we get the ball to him, he converts. the other two lads we got up there are never going to be forwards. They dont have the goal sense required.

He is one of the few that knows how to kick 'em straight.

I respect the need for mature bodies but he just doesn’t get involved enough for me. He’s turning 28 in a few months time, I’d prefer we give Fawcett a run of games to develop his game and see what he’s got.

Yesterday’s run into three tacklers was a beaut. I half expected him to stand up, put the ball on the ground, and kick roll it between his legs.

Been saying it for a while now but remember being told I was wrong. If I was petty I'd go find the receipts.

Lefau is a good solid VFL player and make shift senior but as you've said above he should never be selected ahead of a young developing player.

This whole "we have to protect the kids" theory is a myth, Fawcett is huge he doesn't need protection. I have this belief that Yze has let a few past coaches influence his selection process and that's still present in his thoughts today.

Yze needs to understand this is his team, make the harsh decisions and stop playing favourites with the older guys.

Mould your team to how you want it to look, if the old guys aren't happy they will leave.

He’s quicker than I thought. Forwards always look crappy in bottom sides. Slow ball movement and crap delivery

He has been woeful. Looked fantastic in the pre season scratchies. Maybe VFL is just his level.

He was a little lost this week, trying to fix holes, i still rate him and think we need to get him up and going.
At least he kicks straight, which is something most of our players are not doing.

and he is strong and doesnt get pushed off the ball easy.
