have two dogs , one which is named Kouta

was my brothers dog, who is obvioulsy a carlton supporter.

My dear old Mum has a Dog called Maggie and a Cat called Molly.

Let me tell you a funny but for me embarrassing tale about Molly. Picture one of the Club nights at Vic Park and we have our usual table and are having a ball until Mum gets up. She Tells Jarrod Molloy that she has something to tell him, and he replies asking her if she has a question to which she firmly states NO she has something to tell him. By this time my head is in my hands as I try to hide and everyone at the table and in the room is laughing and Mum says to Jarrod the words that will haunt me forever "I just wanted to tell you I named my pussy after you". The room erupted .... but then! She gets back to our table and she's up again and this time Jarrod asks what now? Dear old Mum is waving a Picture of Molly the cat and asked Jarrod if he will sign her pussy, I think Rhyce Shaw had the microphone and he quipped in with "is it shaven?"

Be careful yaking an elderly Relo near the boys if they have named a pet after any of em....
 
My family has a history of pets named after Collingwood players.

Daicos - Dog (Poodle crossed with some mongrel)
Rocca - dog - keplie crossed with beagle but looked more like a greyhound
Sav - cat
Bucks - current dog - Scottish/Australian terrier cross
Lenny - current cat

We almost named our cat prior to Sav, Pants or Millane but named him Sox.

Your Mum sounds disturbingly like my sweet little Irish Mother, (may she rest in peace). She used to say that sort of thing, partly because she was from a more innocent time, and partly, I suspect, for the hell of it.:eek:
 
I have a Kitten called Marty, after Martin Clarke.
A Cockatiel called Daisy, after Dale Thomas.
& a Budgie called Buckley, after well.... BUCKS!
I have more birds named after pies players but they are posted in the 'What pets have you got?" thread & I cbf re-typing most of them.
 
I have a pure breed staffy called daic's. He loves all creatures except birds (i've seen him catch birds out of mid air with his mouth on two occasions, then eat the whole bird feathers and all.)

Never seen him do it to a magpie though.
 
Hmm...

The only one I can recall is a fish I called Mr.Magic. The problem is my family is half Essendon and half Collingwood, so I don't really think naming the animals Pie names would go down well. I called one of my cats Ali, after Muhammad Ali - but pronounced "Ally" or "Elle", however that name is spelt. All the other animals just have regular pet names.

Ok i will let it pass just this once but really this is the famous Collingwood board we cant be seen talking about pet names

yesssssss! when i get my new dog(i dont know when!) im calling it Thomas or Dale! :):)
 
My dog killed a possum last night. I found it quivering in the grass with half it's guts hanging out. Really was a pathetic sight.

I called it Nick Davis.
